Gay marriage legalised in the whole US by the supreme court

I think legality of marriage was always irrelevant to some extent and the only important aspect about it was that it was between a man and a woman. That it was about the nuclear family and biological children. Which i think this may also further help to diminish in the west, which is in decline as it is. I have no problem with the ruling but I think it may have an impact on society that we don't expect.

However i would have course have no problem if homosexual want to get married and would not protest against that. It means a lot to people who need to feel more accepted in their behaviours. In that sense I don't realy mind. I'd rather live in a society where people don't feel oppression for their sexual activity.

God is perfect. We have free will which can make us very imperfect!! Being gay is definitely imperfect! Obviously not a view liked by many on here but everyone is entitled to an opinion and doesnt have to run with the gay crowd!

Of course God made gay people! He made everyone else, apparently.

Why is being gay imperfect? Because it doesn't agree with your sensibilities?

For thousands of years before Christianity appeared, gay people had been thoroughly accepted as normal. You can see this in Africa. Gay people were not victimised until Christianity stuck it's stupid oar in.

Nor is there anything unnatural about homosexuality, because whatever occurs on this earth must, by definition, be natural.

Your supposed God is not what you think he is. I very much doubt that the teachings of Jesus would call for the hatred of anyone based one something that they did not choose.

When did you make your glorious choice to be straight?

I have no hatred to gay people. Far from it. I have a few gay friends!

Whatever occurs on earth is not always 'natural'. God is all loving. God loves everyone and wants everyone to love each other. But, gay marriage is totally alien to human nature. Man was made for woman. When a man wants a man and a woman wants a woman that means there is something seriously gone wrong in their minds! Ok, a man may love a man and a woman love a woman but that is not what human life is all about. If it were, we wouldn't have children!!

What evidence do you have to support this "fact" that man was made for woman?

Please quote your evidence of no God, deity etc!

My belief is built on faith. Something you would not be able to understand!! I love God! God is my life. If you dont want to believe then that is up to you.

Just like my opinion on gay marriage is different to yours. We both can have opinions, different opinions and still live in harmony!

you've been brain washed by parents/society. don't worry though it's quite a nice brain washing, in most cases...

Not really. I strayed from my faith for 20+ years mate. I only got back into it approx 12 years ago. Lots of water under the bridge! Strange things happen in life!

I know that i cannot live without God. God is everything to me. My faith, my beliefs. Yes, i have sinned massively in my life but God is a huge part of my life of which i am so proud of. This is so hard for an atheist to comprehend.

Look, not once, have i ever told anyone in any thread mentioning religion or beliefs that they have to believe! Never!

I only ever state what 'I' believe. Up to you what 'you' believe. I am not here to try and convert anyone. Only give my opinion.
