I think legality of marriage was always irrelevant to some extent and the only important aspect about it was that it was between a man and a woman. That it was about the nuclear family and biological children. Which i think this may also further help to diminish in the west, which is in decline as it is. I have no problem with the ruling but I think it may have an impact on society that we don't expect.
However i would have course have no problem if homosexual want to get married and would not protest against that. It means a lot to people who need to feel more accepted in their behaviours. In that sense I don't realy mind. I'd rather live in a society where people don't feel oppression for their sexual activity.
