A pair of GTX 970's in SLI beat a single 980Ti
Yes or no?
The reason I ask is because I already have a 970. So I thought getting another one in SLI would be a lot cheaper than the 980Ti and would be faster or at least on par with it.
Correct.
As long as the games you play have good SLI profiles.
Not much cheaper would it?
You also have to take into account the higher minimums of the Ti, a good positive in its favour...
It would be a lot cheaper for me as I already have a 970. I could get another for £280. It would be cheaper than over £600 for a 980Ti
Do you see what I mean? That is why I am asking the question![]()
Well what are 970s going for second hand? Say you get £200
You'd need just over £300 to get a ti
I could get another 970 for less than £300![]()
