Facebook ads?

I thought everybody knew Facebook is run by the CIA.

So that's the reason why you're seeing ads for facebook on TV.

It's basically to increase the scope of data required for the Minerva Initiative. It's an initiative that collects unprecedented amounts of data on human behaviour.

For example it collects things like where you pause a YouTube video and for how long.

Another example is how long you look at planted images on Facebook and which images cause people to stop scrolling down, even the precise location of your mouse pointer is logged while you're browsing Facebook.

If you have doubts about what I'm saying you need to ask yourself, does Mark Zuckerberg actually need more money from these people who will sign up to FB through his new advertisement?

The answer is absolutely not.

Time to leave the weed alone.

I've said this years ago, but one day it will be made illegal to NOT have a Facebook account. Then everyone will realise it really is the Governmental BIG BROTHER Monster they've been trying to convince you for years it's not. It's already seen as odd or subversive in some way to not have any Social Media Account thanks to the 'Nothing to hide' Brigade .

It's already being used to manipulate and sway Public Opinions by Corporations so god knows how it's being manipulated by dedicated Govt. Propaganda Departments. Israel has a dedicated Task Force of Internet Shills https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_Internet_Defense_Force so you can guarantee every other Govt. will have them too. ;)

Use Social media at your peril, value your Privacy before it's taken from you.

Are you telling me that you can be paid to be an internet troll?!

I can't say I've ever seen an Ad for facebook, but I don't watch all that much TV. Seems a little redundant now, however.

That's interesting, any evidence to support this?

That's for facebook, but it's 2 years old, so expect the invasion to be on a far greater scale right now.

Most, if not all internet organisations with an attractive user base have either been fully seized by the government or are currently under infiltration from government agents.

Google has been physically infiltrated by agents in the past. There was an article I read years ago which explained someone physically within Google was tapping data and forwarding it straight to the NSA's billion dollar analysis centre in Utah.

The more data we feed to facebook, the more we are feeding the entity which will destroy liberty and humanity as we know it.

I believe you're confusing Google with AT&T. The NSA tapped the lines running straight into AT&T in San Fran. It's known as Room 641A.

I briefly remember somebody here a few months ago being refused a job because he said he doesn't use social media. They basically called him a liar for it and never got the job.

I'm aware of that tactic. But it's not limited to AT&T in San Fran. It's actually many internet exchange points which have been systematically infiltrated so that pretty much 99% of world internet traffic is potentially interceptable, or is intercepted.

Look at the leaked diagram at the bottom of this article:

It sends shivers down my spine.

AT&T was an example of a real world event of the NSA tapping lines. Not a newspaper quoting Snowden leaks of "undisclosed" locations. And why would they infiltrate exchanges or companies like Google and Yahoo when that went badly for them before? They have PRISM. They can walk into any of those companies in the US and demand they hand over information under the guise of national security. If they need information from the UK, they get the spooks in GCHQ to do it.

How many deep sea cables have been cut since 2007? Answer. Lots. Just tap directly into where the cables come onshore. They've tapped under sea cables before during the Cold War. It was called Operation Ivy Bells.

Of course it is! it's a bunch of computers connected to other computers via the internet, networks and infrastructures, basic input output, if it's open one end it can be breached anywhere between and the end point.

This is why I don't use Facebook, or use the cloud accounts, I don't want my personal information online anywhere, I barely even buy anything from the net because I don't want my personal bank information being stored/encrypted somewhere.

I fully support anonymity, the way it should be.

Skynet is taking over :p

I hate to brake it to you, but your bank is already storing your details online themselves.

You know what I mean, I know there some things that aren't avoidable, but I prefer to keep away from most variables online, shopping, personal info about myself, photos, profiles etc etc.

Never can be to careful these days with all the fraud that goes on, companies selling your info and so on...

You cant really compare a bank storing your details for transaction purposes and a media outlet hell bent on spreading propaganda and data collection to feed to the Minerva Initiative.
