Saturday is for shopping, Sunday is for hobbies, family and quiet time.
Life shouldn't be all about work...guess I am just old school![]()

The little local stores are 1/10th the size of the supermarkets, so it's pretty obvious they're not going to have the same range of products!
No, but they have everything I'm likely to need that I've missed when shopping earlier in the week.

Not really. As I said, I never shop at the weekends so this doesn't affect me. I'm organised enough to manage my shopping during the week.

I have to say I kinda miss quiet Sundays where nothing is open and it is all about spending time with family and friends.
Still, I guess in this modern fast moving world it isn't a bad thing for most people.
I agree. Sunday trading means people working. Is it really that much of an inconvenience to have one day of the week where people don't have to work. People working on Sundays splits families up.
I find the majority of people who are in favour of Sunday trading don't work on Sundays.
I plan on doing that as I hate Living in London. Ultimate goal is to move back to the Med... One thing at a time!
Then you'll be old, less organised and complaining why the shops aren't open![]()
Good news but not for anyone who works in retail
Im guessing at wages? normally get double time or time+½
You guys just need to be more organised![]()
All the retailers will do is make you do less hours each shift and make you do an extra day to get your contracted hours in...they're not stupid.
Non of the shop workers I know get Sunday premiums very few of them get more than 30 hours per week work and Sunday is a normal day.
