I've heard they removed the safefy car feature? Not confirmed. Still. Seems along with NHL this gen now also seems to be one of remove content?

I never agree with removing content, but to be honest in 2 or 3 F1 games that had the safety car in, I could count on a digit-challenged hand the amount of times I actually saw it.
Mine is awaiting stock/release from thegamecollection. Should have stuck with simply......
Funny you should say that - I saw it was 5 quid cheaper at thegamecollection, but I'm sure I had a bad experience buying from them before (maybe destiny or something), they said it was in stock on the website when it wasn't and it was just a bit of a shoddy customer experience, so I went with simply again, always despatched on time, usually the cheapest 99 percent of the time too!

Maybe they'll just have the 'virtual' safety car like we saw at Silverstone last weekend.
Yeah mine shipped yesterday from Simply, my mate got his yesterday from Gameseek and another mate got his from Shopto today.
This is a EA trick, remove something for a year or two, tweak things, maybe give it a new name and then introduce it again as a new feature.
I've had a play this afternoon and I can say there will be a lot of people who will not like it.
I think it will depend if you want a "game" from this or just interested in the racing. By that I mean that there career mode, no tutorials or anything like that. You can basically play Championship mode, Quick Race, Time Trial and Multiplayer. The Championship is the closest thing to a career but it is just a series of races, there's not many options either you can choose a Short Weekend (15 Mins Practice, one shot Qualifying and 50% race distance), Normal (30 Mins Practice, short Qualifying and 50% race distance) and Long (60 mins Practice, Full Qualifying and 100% race). There is nothing you can adjust in those options which is annoying especially as yet I have not found a way to speed up Practice which leads to another point of it being not very accessible... edit; just found the option to ffw time.
There is obviously wheel support but it needs tweaking to get to an acceptable level.
Graphically it's OK and seems to run fine, there seems to be some issues with the penalty system with a few strange calls.
I'll get a fair bit of use out of it online and I like single races etc but I think anyone who is looking for a progression system and not single races will be disappointed. Looking at the trophies a lot are based around the Quick race which gives an indication of what the game is about.
CM have said they are not going to add a career mode to this but may look to introduce again in F1 2016....

Just done first race. 3 laps silverstone.. first impressions. The gfx are fine. Nice!
But what really hit me.. 60 fps. What a difference!!! This is whats most important to me in a racing game. Could be a pixelated 640 mess but if the frame rate is buttery smooth like this...wow. After being disillusioned with codies latest f1 games it looks like this is the one that ive been waiting for.

Just had my first go off the PC version and im quite impressed with it graphics wise it definitely is a step up from the last gen even the pit crew models look really good and move realistically too even if it is just for 2 seconds lol... car models are nice and even the buildings in Monaco look detailed.
Handling is well torquetastic i was playing with all assists off and god does the back end step out on these cars
you have to be very careful on the throttle or bam it snaps just like the real thing 
One other thing they have cracked the sense of speed with 2015 i really did get that feeling i was going 200mph
This was just my view after playing it for 20 mins in quick race mode and practice mode.
