How strange...purchased some cookies from Asda and one of them has a bite taken out of it :p

Why not just eat the whole thing, surely their stock control when baking isn't that strict?

The bag was sealed and I checked incase a bit broke off and was in the bag.

Looks more like a nibble to me. That's a poor choice of cookie so they did you a favour to be honest :p

Probably but I CBA, would involve talking to someone and explaining the situation which isn't worth £1.

Happy to send an email just to highlight their poor staff but can't find an address on their website and don't want to make a phone call.

How dare you, oat and raisin is a national treasure!

As for the culprit, I'd like to meet them due to their guts to just take a bite and have the audacity to leave it in the package for you to find it :D

Probably was about to take second bite as one of the millions of managers supermarkets seem to employ and panicked shoved it in the bag.
Just eat around bite leaving 1cm clearance to save you catching some disease

No way to prove you didn't take a bite from it to try and get free stuff, not worth it at all.

Nonsense, they'd sooner shut you up with a voucher than accuse you of potentially lying to get free cookies and then face the PR crap fest that resulted.

Well they can't prove he did it, unless they do DNA test which isn't going to happen. What ever happened to customer is always right?

Anyway, you don't email them saying "some ate me cookie, gimmie free stuffs":p you inform them that they may be employing someone naughty and if they offer anything in return, it's just a bonus.:D

I'm not after anything.....I thought it would be wise for them to receive the complaint and highlight it to the staff that baked that day that it wasn't acceptable.
