Agreed, I've been away and not been keeping up until today/last night. I originally thought people were moaning their freebies were only half full. :D
 
I'm quite glad i didn't go the Expo yes free juice would have been good and some of the deals put on were pretty good, But it just seemed insanely busy!

Mods going missing is a massive shame, That's the problem with these expensive mods everyone wants them but a lot cant afford them. If they are going to show any mods at these things they should tag them or get the repainted so its obvious where the mod is from, Or have a lot of staff working the stalls too keep an eye on people, I would happily help out on a stall with just the promise of some free juices.

Vapes are to easy to pinch and sell for a few quid below asking price. If the second hand market wasn't so strong with stuff only having £10/20 knocked off the RRP i would guess theft would be lessened dramatically
 
FYI people... the authentic subox mini is now available by itself on FT for £21.. just wish they have a stainless steel version.
 
Vape Expo was nothing on Vape Jam UK. I actually didn't manage to walk away with ANY free juice from the Expo. Vape Jam, I had about 120ml.

Actually, I did get the free 10ml bottle that was handed out on entry. 0mg nicotine; cheers for that, like.

Where did people manage to bag free bottles?

As an aside, here's a question:

Picked up an RDA for use at home. My mod is the Cloupor Mini (30w).

At the moment, I'm using the RDA with a 1.6ohm dual coil (32AWG) at 29.5 watts. It's good, but I also have some 26AWG wire here, which I built a 0.5ohm dual with earlier today. Problem was that the coils heated up too slowly, and caused the mod to get very hot in the hand, at 30w.

I assume, to get that wire firing nicely, I'm going to want to hit it with 45-50w -- BUT the Cloupor also has a VV mode (up to 7 volts). If I rebuild at 0.5 with the 26 (dual coil), and switch the Cloupor to VV mode, pump it to 5 volts... will it fire? Because that would be the equivalent of 50 watts on VW setting.

Or would the Cloupor refuse to do that because it's going to be over the 30w limit?

Which gauge wire are folks here using for low ohm builds? I'm talking 0.5-1.0 ohm (I don't do lower).
 
With kanthal for 0.5 ohm builds I use 26AWG. For 1 ohm builds I use 28 or 30AWG.

I would imagine that your mod won't actually fire at 5V in to 0.5 ohms because - as you say - that would exceed the 30W limit. The mod is getting hot because it's at the limits of what it can do. My 30W iSticks get super hot firing a 0.5 ohm load at 30W for more than 10 or so puffs. The 50W is fine.

Got an email today from a vendor advising the rta on the triton has been delayed with no eta.

Annoying but they have refunded me the difference and my triton will be shipped today.
 
do you have an atlantis? if so can you see if the rta bit fits in there when you get it? :) Thanks...

In other news, I've seen a few bell caps that looks quite nice on the subtank mini.. at this rate, I've will have built a sub tank from all the the upgraded parts. :)
 
Oooooo so excited!!!

Just ordered a sigelei 75w mod, subtank mini v2 with some ni200 coils and a bottle of cosmic fog "church".

I really don't know where they are from... Chris M, from Bell Caps Vapes had one on his and there's a hand check on sv with a flat one that looks like it's a stream turners one.

I'll have a google tomorrow, as vape drama is really kicking off in the pit at the moment.

I don't have one personally but do have access to a V2...will testing it on that do?
 
Think I have a temp fix for the istick 40 underfiring in temp mode, unlock resistance, remove coil while device is on, screw back on and press fire, when prompted say it's a new coil, relock resistance and boom I'm down from 500f to 360f and a far better vape, coil resistance now reads 0.17 from 0.13.

edit: And now an equally annoying bug, once I've 'locked' the coil in at its 'new' reading, it eventually decides it wants to revert back to its original 0.13, WTF ELeaf!! The whole point of locking the coil resistance, is that it doesn't change isn't it??

Me and my dads mate convinced him to give vape a go, he tried his mates vape which had 18mg liquid. Not sure if he'll actually do it, so he said 30-35 quid just for the vape should be a decent entry level budget?

Any recommendations for 18mg liquids? My dad currently smokes the Marlborough lights...
