I'm not an Xbox owner, so I don't know off the top of my head what resolution its games run at.

When I get one, I will pay more attention to it.

Well GTA 5 did run better on xb1 while driving at speed but worse in gun fights, this was until a patch came and PS4 ran better overall. I think the answer should be that sometimes XB1 versions may run slightly better but only due to reduced resolution/shadows/textures e.t.c.

I'm confused, you asked a straight forward question and were given a list of games that provide an answer to your question. There is no irony here.

Whether a person can tell that they are running at that resolution whilst gaming is a completely separate question.

I own both consoles. So that's kinda buggered up your argument, hasn't it? And you're one of the worst Xbox fanboys on these forums. You're really in no position to bash anybody for their choice of console.
