I appreciate it's mostly 0.0001 ohm drippers and 5kW box mods nowadays*, though does anyone have any thoughts/experience on the GP Heron + Paps V3/V4 setup?

It's been a long time since i've purchased any hardware, my last purchase being an Atmizoo Lab 18500 which has been excellent.

I thought i'd treat myself to something new to celebrate two years off the rollies and the Heron combo seems like a good buy. I use an original KFL along with a Nemesis or Lab as my daily vape and fancy bit of a change. I have a KFL+ as a backup, though this spends most of it's time collecting dust.

I've also considered the Squape R(S), though this seems incredibly similar to the Kayfun.

Any thoughts?

*Slight exaggeration here, though cloud-chasing does seem to be 'in'

Me personally... I would rather just order some VG online and buy some ready to vape juice from else where to keep going while it comes and steeps..

I've seen a few of the old timers (lol :D) buying and selling heron, it's just a giant spheroid, and now that I've learn how to wick a spheroid, it is my first thing in the morning/last thing at night atty. I'm sure wazz will be able to shed more light on the atty.

The Squape r is nothing like the kayfun, the decks are inter-changeable and it's my go to atty with the b deck at the moment, it works very much like an autodripper, never a dry it but looses flavor compared to the other decks.

A bloody good vaping as a review on it and a quick look at all the decks, it's the most customizable RTA on the market.

I would have just nipped to boots and bought some glycerin. That would have been the quickest / easiest solution.

And probably would have picked up a bottle of whatever from the local B&M to tide me over until it was ready.

Can't really add much to what Slinxy has said but if you buy authentic, then it's a quality set up, excellent combo. Some of the finest machining out there. As Slinxy says just a big spheroid, very good attys and the paps one of the finest mech mods. You can also sub ohm if you like.
Cannot recommend enough. :)
 
I quit smoking in March 2009 and to this day have not touched another ciggy. I quit overnight from 20-30 a day and quit cold turkey.

I've recently started vaping when I've had a beer. I don't have my own, I tend to smoke my mates when out with him. I've been doing this for about 2 months now, last weekend I had a house party and was smoking one for most of the day. I've never ever done it when sober and I feel zero need to go out and buy any kit myself.

Should I be worried? I don't want to smoke again but I must admit I do enjoy vaping now and then. Or should I just enjoy it for what it is?

I don't see why you should be worried, if its something you enjoy once in a while why not. It's not like your either getting addicted to Nicotine again or taking up something damaging to your health
 
Quick review on a new juice I ordered. The Schwartz - the downside (Greek yoghurt and blueberry)

Vaping it in my UTA 1.1ohm 2.5mm diameter coil 14 watts (3.9volts)

A very subtle vape. Greek yoghurt flavour is definitely there. Blueberry seems to be lacking but still very enjoyable. Not sickly and could easily be an all day vape. The Schwartz slogan is 'prepare to vape yoghurt' and they have it spot on imo. They have a couple other flavours (think strawberry and peanut butter/ hazelnut)

I have recently recovered from a chest infection and my taste and smell is still lacking so the blueberry might be there.

£9 for 15ml so not the cheapest. Picked it up from vapor-z when I ordered some green crack (another one I would recommend) whilst they had 15% off.

I wouldn't go out my way to order it but if you have a couple of juices you buy from vapor-z or next time you buy a mod from there stick it in your basket.

Be interesting to hear from anyone else who has tried it.

I wouldn't be overly worried personally. If you do find yourself vaping more and more, it may be worth at least investing in your own eliquid. You can get 0 nic liquids, or mix your own 0 nic so at least your not brining that addiction back.
 
Well i wasn't expecting that, just tried the .5ohm head in my new sub tank mini (first time i've tried sub ohm vaping) and its blown my head off not to mention my lungs.

Guess 12mg is abit to high for it:o

Yea but by the time I wrote that only asda and tesco where still open and tesco dont sell glycerine :( its sorted, I can wait till the morning and catch boots and already ordered some online.

Ah I see. I've gone from a Fogger 4.2 and Doge 2 as my daily vape tools so in a slightly different camp. I really like the easy draw on the max air flow setting :)
 
Oooh that vt200 has me questioning weather or not to diy now. The quality on the vt40 is superb and feels nice in my hand, the vt200 should be the same. Thoughts on price? Thinking most likely 169 ish?

What's a good shake and vape fruity concentraye , going to order a shed load of concentrates and need something to tide over the steep time.

O.o

Less damaging to your health than smoking cigarettes and not damaging to your health are definitely not the same thing lol.

Vaping is great from the pov that it doesn't make you or your home smell like an ashtray, but never assume that it isn't still harmful to the user and those nearby.
