Then why bother asking ? Just go do whatever you please and you may get pulled over, you may not.
 
If it makes sense spaced as XXX X XXX then it will surely make only a little less sense in the correct spacing. And look less chavvy.

I think that the middle 'X' has to be a number so it would truly be an inspiration to know what the full registration is.
 
Make sure you use strategically placed "screws" to make the letters look like something else. And have generic tiny text such as "BMW M Power" added to the bottom

Likely just the previous owner's initials - although a quick google of ACN brings up a Telecommunications company and a dodgy pyramid scheme :)

Just because you haven't been stopped yet doesn't mean you won't be.

There are three options an officer can take: £100 non-endorsable FPN, summons to court, or report to the DVLA. The latter is usually taken by traffic where you have cherished plates but basically they take photos, send to the DVLA and then you need to rectify the plate, take photos and send them back to the DVLA. If you get reported a second time the DVLA have the option of revoking the plate and issuing you new ones without any refund. I quite like the last one.

No they aren't - we have a relatively cheap ANPR system at work ~4 Years old (and technology has moved on a lot), and it doesn't do anything particularly clever other than pick up almost any writing that passes by - whether it actually recognises the plate, or needs manual review of the photo is another matter - but don't think you are immune.
 
If you can't afford a decent plate that you don't have to illegally space to try and make it mean something then don't bother. It looks absolutely retarded.

Must admit that is one of the tests I do to see if a plate looks good or not.
Anything that has:

Illegal fonts
Illegal spacing
Bolts of the wrong colour in places they shouldn't be
Require an explanation

Why bother?

You've got it all wrong, the text at the bottom should read what the plate is meant to say, just so people who don't quite get it can understand and bow to your private plate superiority ;)

As Mucky Pup says, would be a pure chav plate.
 
Bought a plate the other day to cheer me up after a pretty miserable health report. Reversed two of the numbers on the front plate to look like letters, but kept a proper one just in case. Would love to post it here but not sure if the mods would approve
 
When your car gets nicked and doesn't get picked up on ANPR you'll probably end up regretting it.

A lot of petrol stations won't activate the pump unless they get a valid reg from ANPR too

Honestly I don't understand some people.
How anyone can think it's acceptable to completely reverse numbers on a plate I have no idea.
I'll be very surprised if the first police car you see behind you doesn't pull you over. I can see them sometimes turning a blind eye to all these hideous mis-spaced plates or the 'scene' people who have the German 'D' on their 'scene' cars but changing a number into a letter will be a bit too much I think.
Better make sure your car is completely road legal :D
