New Top Gear 'potential' presenter

Might watch if she gets the job.

Why?

Yeah, she's pretty. Whoopie-do. There are lots of pretty people. I can see lots of video of pretty people almost any time I like, often nude. As the song says, the internet is for porn.

The relevant question is whether she's any good at the job, which is unknown. Maybe she does have a passion for cars and messing about and the newspaper article just ignored that because she's pretty. Maybe she'd be a good fit with the other presenters, but that can't be known without trying it. Remember Jason Dawes? He knows his stuff and is passionate about it, but he just didn't fit with the other two so it didn't work.

Or maybe the newspaper is just making stuff up. Who said she was being considered for the part? A leak from someone in a position to know? The journalist's friend, who heard a rumour? Some random person on Twitter? The journalist themself, just making it up for a story? Who knows?

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are reuniting to create an all-new car show, exclusively for Amazon Prime. The show will be produced by the trio’s long time executive producer Andy Wilman. On working with Amazon, Jeremy Clarkson said “I feel like I've climbed out of a bi-plane and into a spaceship.” The first show will go into production shortly and arrive exclusively on Amazon Prime in 2016.

You mean the one where they're looking at a car factory/car production/something like that? Presenters are often allowed to work with whoever they want... they're not all bound by exclusive deals.

Yeah, that would have been it :D.

Pity Netflix didn't get this as I only sub to Netflix.

Will be interesting to see how much different it is to the BBC Top Gear we have been used to seeing.

I personally hope it goes back to being a car show with some fun episodes i dont mind but it was a victim of it's own success trying to appeal to too many people sometimes and not about keeping it simple with it's car reviews.

Glad to see the trio back now but we all knew it was inevitable someone else would sign them up.

Provided Amazon don't do a BT ("we're giving you more stuff for free so we're putting up the cost of your line rental" )
