The worst thing for me after them removing the cast was not being able to move my fingers at all. It felt like my hand was dead. Took weeks to get full movement back. But mine was a tendon injury, so not sure if its the same for a break.

I remember when I broke my left wrist, had a full length cast on for months (above elbow). Eurgh. My arm was so tiny and pail after, looked so weird.

I've been pretty lucky in that aside from driving it hasn't really impacted me work wise. One day off and then back to normal after that.

Well the cast is off and all seems OK. It was pretty disgusting underneath and it was nice to wash it at last. It aches to bend it and I am back to see the physio in a few weeks but hopefully will be back playing football and golf soon. Thanks for the well wishes!
