I'm always bemused as to why people think cod 4 was the best thing since sliced bread and the series went downhill after that. IMO it went downhill when cod 2 introduced consolized elements like health regen. COD 4 i thought was farsical, weapons with little to no recoil, stackable callins that could literally own the map, i thought it was an utter turd yet because it was one of the first modern warfare games when ww2 was the "in thing" it got rave reviews.

For me it was because how simple the game was. They wasn't all this over the top loadouts, kill streaks etc just you and your own skill. The 3 kill streak was very nice and new also worked well and not over powered...

The maps were all great s&d was my most played and worked superb again at the time something very new to me and super easy to get hooked.

I do agree guns were easy to shoot but that for me was OK for what the game was bringing fast paced, tactical shooter.

Cod4 had everything perfect, the series didn't need to go down the path it's taken to be successful. It already was successful.

yeh ive not played any cod game..just like ive never played any batman game
not sure if thats good or not

what else is coming? lol
 
COD on PC? - broken when released *check* gameworks *means more broken on released* *check* for everyone.....*double check* :D
