as others said go for the 850s, i have 2 x 250GB 850 evos and they are great.

the issues where only effecting the 840 evos and this has been addressed with a new firmware and magician software (4.6)
 
I've had about ten different Crucial drives over the years and one Samsung. I only had an issue with one where I had to RMA it and I was without it for a week. Can you guess which one? Yup, the Samsung.

Crucial for me have been rock solid and I've never had an issue. Headline figures aren't all that, it'll be seldom you'll be transferring at 100% of the drives total throughput capacity anyway.

This is what I thought RMA and losing all my game data does no appeal to me :o

I know the crucial m4's had some problems still oin the fence im not looking to buy till late September October time
 
I know I had 256gb version, well decided to hold on to my money till fallout it released so I can mod it to hell and back :)
