Yea I turned that off when he was back peddling about calling Hamas 'our friends'. He has no spine, call them what they are which is an islamic terrorist organisation.

He's totally unlikable and I could never vote for him.

I think he actually gained a lot of support with that interview, he was explaining himself perfectly well but Krishnan kept interrupting him even though he knew perfectly well what he meant. That and people were generally getting a bit sick of C4's interviewing tactics, especially after the RDJ thing, so it was nice to have someone call them out on it.

Kendle and Cooper split the woman in power vote, Andy is lifeless, and all three have had the kiss of death from Blair and Brown. His relatively straight talking manner will appeal to the people who defected to UKIP at the last election. Not to mention that Corbyn's policies actually have a chance of gaining traction in Scotland.

Its easy to see why he has the lead.

Labour is about to step left again.

Gordon Brown is weighing in on the leadership debate today with a speech according to the news today. First Blair, now Brown. Neither are the sort of MPs the grass roots are interested in it seems, I'm amazed if anyone would be interested in what he has to say.
John Prescott has actually gone up in my estimation with his views on the leadership campaign - stating that if the rest want to win, they they should present better arguments to the voters. That the attacks are undermining the whole process.

Personally the language of the New Labour side of the party is showing a huge disregard to the views of the Labour voters. Looking at the data JC is the first preference to not only a majority of new joiners but also the established members.

It would be interesting to know what percentage of Green party, SNP, Liberal Democrats & Conservative voters & none voters would vote for who. While the other three may indeed do better with a number of swing voters, it would be silly not to count the number of returning voters he may gain.

if they're voting on genitals before anything else like suggested 1,2 voting for each woman wouldn't make a difference.
True, but if a number had Kendall or Cooper as 1 & Andy as 2 - then it would be splitting the vote.

Saying that voting based on gender would be quite pathetic, by all meats vote for a women if they agree with her policies, but to vote on those means alone shows a lack of depth of thought on the matter.

Ironically, all this campaign has done is make is if anybody but Corbyn wins - a large number of left leaning Labour voters may jump ship. I'm not a Labour voter or member myself, but I wouldn't vote for any of the other three tbh. I could be convinced to vote for JC & move from the Green party (who I don't really like either...)

its the way a lot of people vote though.

heck them using the bus was brought up as a reason to vote for someone before.

Gordon Brown giving lectures on how to win elections? Uh-uh I don't think so.
Indeed, I think they are attributing too much to New Labour policy & not accounting for having a competitively more charismatic leader & the deeply unpopular Conservative government.

I've heard somebody say they were voting for Nick Clegg because he had a nice face.:mad::mad:

People should vote for the policies they hold & their estimation as to how likely they are to actually enact them. Like or loath Jeremy Corbyn & his policies at least he has conviction & a history of voting that way to back it up.

He's also one of the vote who vote against surveillance, wars & in favour of a fully transparent parliament. He also wants to see Blair stand for war crimes which is a big bonus in my book.

thing is people dont know the policies, they vote on what they think the policies are based on what they believe the party represents. usually from what their parents told them about what the party was like 30 years ago.

Sad, but true.

I firmly believe that if somebody can't be bothered to learn the policies of a party they are voting for then they should stay at home come election day. Our democracy is flawed enough as it is without it being subverted by the stupid.

Did anyone hear Radio 4 this morning at about 9:45am? There was a story called "A very British coup" (not based on book or series but a homage). It imagined a very rose tinted future where JC was swept to power in coalition with the Lib Dems. It was quite the socialists wet drem, I'd like to hear the second part it was quite nicely written.

nice to see the one eyed idiot still not having a clue.

He added: "I have to say that if our global alliances are going to be alliances with Hezbollah and Hamas and Hugo Chavez's Venezuela and Vladimir Putin's Russia, there is absolutely no chance of building a world-wide alliance that can deal with poverty and inequality and climate change and financial instability, and we've got to face up to that fact."

thats from his rant today, someone better tell him Hugo Chavez died March 5, 2013. on the ball with fact and figures once more gordo.
