Hair clippers: the 2015 'spec me' edition.

Bit the bullet and splashed out on the cordless Wahl Super Taper clippers despite the poor online reviews. If they're no good I can always send them back.

I can confirm that these are very good. No shortage of power, they are light and compact and incredibly sharp. My only moan is the plastic mouldings are a bit badly finished around the edges, but I can live with that.

This thread is very timely as I use clippers and my clippers were from Boots and are now not cutting very well.

I ordered this Wahl lithium ion one about a month ago to replace the famous remington, its standing up pretty well.

The attachments are good, and easy to swap, its also a lot smaller in size than the remington, ideal for travel, i use the old remington case for all the attachments.

The adjustable guard trimmer attachment is a bit crap, it slips a grade sometimes, so i stick to the non-adjustable guard attachments you get with it.

+1 had mine for 6 months, just the ticket. I am a light user just use it for the stubble look.

It rarely needs charging

I have this set also and so far it's very good. As said doesn't need charged often and holds its charge for ages too. Does a fine job if trimming my beard as well. Recommended.

I use wahl super taper and they are bullet proof, I cut my own hair once a fortnight and they never skip a beat.

Does anyone know where you can get a decent quality 1.5 grade for the wahls? Grade 1 is too short and grade 2 is just a bit long for me, I have the purple wahl 1.5 but it's really flimsy and drops off way too easy compared to the standard black ones
