Got a card through the door yesterday for a missed special delivery. For some reason the card told me to go to the depot a couple of miles down the road to collect, rather than the usual one a few mins walk away. I didn't think too much of it, as i haven't lived here for too long and figured maybe as it was special delivery/a large package etc they might take it elsewhere.
Got a bus and a 15 min walk to the other depot where they had a quick look before noticing my post code and telling me it was the wrong card and that it must be at my local one. I dashed back as quick as i could (got a bit sweaty) but was refused entry at my local office where there was a large queue. I was literally 30 seconds late and they weren't interested at all when i tried to plead my case.
So i've ended up taking at least an hour out of my day, paid money for public transport and not managed to pick up an item that i really could have done with this weekend. I'm pretty miffed about it and despite not being someone who complains, often if ever, i really feel like doing so on this occasion.
Anywhere in particular i should vent?
