true, there is hostility already against the UK who are not letting as many in. wtf, the hostility should be at assad and ISIL
Europe can't win this fight, there is no get out clause that doesn't leave the entire continent looking bad in someones eyes or the entire incumbent/native population feeling angry. Because of this we need to agree on an approach, whatever that might be and follow it with ruthless and consistent actions. The issue is, that won't happen as to do that you need a dictator and we don't have any of those in real power positions.....for now. History has shown many times that when fear is put into the European populations the right steps up and uses that fear and that will happen here and within the next 5-10 years.
....to add none of the major western powers has ever concerned itself with the outcry from wiping out women and children so in the grand scale of things the 2 lads washed up on a beach is nothing more than a media play and frenzy. If the right wing comes in, the mobs start and the push back begins and frankly the majority of Europe is white european so I genuinely fear for 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants too. As I said earlier, the world is in a horrible place right now. What happens when the boats start leaving France, Spain the Netherlands for our shores because it will begin soon.
There's loads of them go to the local swimming pool, seems that they think nothing to floating a turd submarine when needed. Used tampons the lot, they are completely off the chain.

Aye looks increasingly like a situation of the EUs own creation and I fear the flood gates are only just opening.
Its horrible seeing the pictures of that little lad on the beach. But I am in 100% agreement with David Cameron on this issue. Taking migrants into our country is not the answer to this problem. We need to look at ways to improve the countries these migrants are coming from.
I hope Cameron stands firm on this issue, and does not cave in to stupid demands from people like that nasty little women running Scotland.

David Milliband lecturing Britain on the migrant crisis - "Britain must take in more" etc. Someone should tell him he couldn't even win the Labour leadership contest never mind the general election and frankly he beggared off the the USA so he should stay there and STFU! 
I think we should get out, run a proper immigration worldwide system where everyone gets treated the same that focuses on weaknesses in the economy. This should free up space to also helping people in need such as these refugees.
That would be more sensible Instead of sucking in the economic free loading migrants from the dregs of eastern Europe who hate us with a passion.

When these #refugees cannot turn to their neighboring countries and have to travel the sea to seek refuge, there is something evidently wrong with the fact that the neighboring countries are not doing anything to help.

He's already changed his mind. In the last hour there is a new story about Cameron accepting Britain must do more, and apparently pressure has been successfully put on us from other EU nations to take more people in.
But this is nothing new. When could you ever trust a politician not to make a u-turn under a bit of pressure?
Those countries know full well what the ramifications of taking so many people in are, most likely.
We still have that to learn.

The west is too soft and Europe is being taken advantage of now. It's already showing cracks and it's now going to only get worse.
