The EU Migrant Crisis

Well, you did say you were in politics. Which seems to suit you well, judging by that little piece of arrogance.

It's only arrogance if I'm wrong.

I'm done talking to you.

That's a shame, I thought you were starting to raise your game.

I guess refuting every point on your previous post made you realise your talking a load of unsubstantiated nonsense and confusing opinion with fact.

It's a very dangerous precedent to allow migrants from outside the EU just wander through multiple countries without having to register etc.

Just doodling in my mind with this one - what about a referendum on whether we should take more of these people? After all we appear to be increasingly in favour of deciding important issues in this manner.

The criteria would be British born and bred and you must have been paying full taxes and contributing to society for at least 30 years.

After all why should those with little or no financial stake in society have a say.

That seems fair doesn't it?

Make a petition.

Petition calling for Cameron to stamp out immigration to the UK, great cause but poorly worded unfortunately. Worth signing simply to spite the SJW and liberal brigade however.

Hmmm, this is far more popular than I had imagined, just noticed signature numbers have gone from 47000 to 49000 in less than an hour, encouraging stuff. :)

Also, there are 233 UK refugees and 75000 Turkish refugees - I think that tells you something about Turkey's issues.

Only needs 6x as many signitures to beat the opposing petition :D

Got to laugh at what Bristols Mayor said on the BBC news app this morning.

Bristols Mayor has urged people to find a spare room in their home for refugees

Lol,So mr Mayor will you be offering a spare room(s) in your home for one?..i guess not,Stupid idiot as if anyone in the right mind state would be doing that,You would wake up with half your stuff missing.

I understand there is a crisis,But i think its just an excuse for them all to just come over here and get everything handed to them on a plate at taxpayers expense that's it.

Councils are finding homes for these people yet our own people have to go on a HUGE waiting list and many of our people are homeless because of this.

Hmmm but then by your logic that's pretty much all national born students and young people not allowed a say in society either cause they have little or no financial stake in society or is that okay cause their parents paid in? What about those families who've through one reason or another have lived on benefits for generations who are so called born and bred English people?

No?? Didn't think so

Look I'm right up there with those who say nobody should take advantage of the benefits system, whether that be national born or not but I do think everyone regardless of faith, culture or religion has the right to a better life that what is going on in their own countries like Syria and they should be given a helping hand at least until they get on their own feet.

Despite the fear mongers the entire population of the middle east is not trying to come to Britain, we can cope for the time being at least and as a simple point of economics the more people we have coming in who work hard and pay their taxes etc the better off financially the country becomes.... it will only be a minority who lounge on benefits!

ahh you mean true democracy.. no sorry, were in the UK :(

10 petitions got a token response clarifying the governments stance

expect the same from any dictatorship

Migrant crisis: UK council leaders seek more resources

Expect council tax rises soon to pay for this.

Our local council is already laying off staff on a monthly basis as they have horribly mis-managed their funds and almost bankrupted themselves :p

But then I doubt any of them will come our way, since they all appear to be head to London (the multi-culti paradise that it is).
