From what I've seen and heard him talk he's a bit unhinged honestly, if thats not a bad term. Not all there? He's definitely not quite right in the head rather than some kind of campaigner for civil liberties etc. Theres no ideology behind it, he just eccentric. Or plain nuts.

It seems that Asim may have walked in on something when he was eight and it has traumatised him ever since...

We would probably have less kids with body image problems if we were all a little less prudish. My daughter has seen both her parents naked and it doesn't seem to have done her any harm.
 
My old man lives in a naturalist area in Spain, it's common to see people at beach bars etc in the niff.
Not my cup of tea but it's really not a sexual thing.

The naked rambler guy though, I guess he's trying to prove a point of some sort... Walking naked through a town in this country, or any for that matter unless it's a known naturalist area is going to cause a clash of opinions.

I also think it's a bit of a waste of public money to lock the guy up, I'm not sure what the solution is in this case really, I think there's some pig headedness from the rambler and the authorities in this case.

The argument is not that many people want to walk around naked but that they have the option to, because nudity in itself is not the issue. An example being Canada where a few years ago female toplessness was deemed as being legal (or more precisely not being illegal). After a few months of women purposely being topless there are very few people going around topless.

Humans are the only primates who have lost our body fur. You telling me that's not an evolutionary change? You telling me modern human beings do have plenty of fur but they magically remove it somehow and decide to wear a jacket instead? You telling me that you don't simply take your jacket off when it's hot and instead still primitively migrate to cooler climates?

What you cant seem to differentiate between is a child who's grown up in a nudist environment who's accustomed to seeing knobs from birth, and how different this is from a small child who's never seen a knob ever in their life who happens to get exposed to a random old man's knob in completely unexpected circumstances.

Species do not devolve.

Thus you don't really understand evolution.

lol. You just confirmed humans lost their fur before they started wearing clothes. Therefore one could have lead to other if indirectly. It has to be in that order. It wouldn't really affect if they lost their fur long after wearing clothes, I mean people shave nowadays don't they? It doesn't affect anything because you're covered anyway.


How would you explain tribal people still being naked all the time in this day and age? If they migrate out of their "habitat" they will need to clothe up or else they will die.

In fact we can even test this today....

Lets see you get out of your "habitat" from in front of your computer, and while wearing the same clothes you're wearing now go to the Arctic. Let's see exactly how many babies you can make there.

The fact is clothing is a tool in evolutionary terms. Just like fire.

Basically you cant be here unless you're wearing clothes.

The fact is if everybody in the UK didn't wear clothes for a year everybody would be dead. Then some brand new naked travellers from a warm climate will sail over and say "Hey it's ****ing cold here we better put some clothes on after we have sex."
