I was (briefly) in Luton last year, and also spent a lot of time in Dewsbury and Bradford through the last five years or so. I didn't get genocided.

Still doesn't stop them being a refugee.

Even if they come to the UK, get put up in Buckingham Palace, given a Rolls Royce and eat caviar all day - they still remain a refugee.

They are a refugee until such time that they can "return to thier home country without fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, and can avail themselves of the protection of that country."

I don't know why this concept is so difficult for some to grasp - I'm not sure whether it's stupidity or obstinence.

Wow. Sweden really has lost the plot.

I am astonished. Completely astonished. They are now the "rape capital of Europe", #2 in the world for rapes. When somebody tried to do statistical analysis of this to determine if immigration or religion had any effect, including looking into the quran, they charged him with a hate crime.

Which is weird considering how they went after Assange. I wonder if he'd been muslim if they'd have just quietly dropped the investigation.

Indeed.

If the rise of Islam continues in Europe it's only a matter of time until ISIS can join the dots between countries by virtue of numbers.

Just about every muslim country I can think of has an active extremist terrorist group, some of them in government (Lebanon/ Hezbollah), others even popular holiday destinations (Maldives).

We saw a snapshot of it with Charlie Hebdo, where Paris was at the mercy of just two men. The city looked like Kobane for those few moments. Government 'intelligence' relied on obvious things like identification left in the getaway vehicle. What would have happened if 50 people dispersed around the country decided to coordinate an attack?

So you have the risk of terrorism at one end and then on the other hand the government wanting to turn the country into a police state to control the terrorism. If this happens the country will spiral into a negative feedback loop, we will only have a dystopian future to look forward to.

People like Emma Thompson create videos like this to make the West feel guilty about their life regardless of class. Ironically it's a glimpse of a future UK. To paraphrase a former prime minister they want the poor to be poorer and the rich to be less rich.
