The EU Migrant Crisis

I'm not going anywhere pal, I wouldn't survive the refugee experience so will probably be one of the first to be beheaded come the Caliphate. If I was younger, fitter, healthier then I'd be trying my damndest to get out now.

If you weren't so lazy then you'd be one of those cowards that runs away instead of fighting for your country. Got it.

The initial uprising against Assad has been hijacked by the ISIL crowd that were spawned from the mess we left in Iraq. There isn't a good and bad side to fight for in that shambles.

Assad may be a dictator by Western standards, but by Middle Eastern standards he was relatively benign. I'd rather be fighting for Assad against the Islamists than fleeing like a coward.

lol, being lectured on tolerance by a kipper :)

I'm not a member of UKIP.

You going to lecture me on what life is like in Germany?

I asked you a question. Which local government and region are you speaking of?

and some comedy gold from germany this morning, care of the bbc.

Germany can cope with at least 500,000 asylum-seekers a year for several years, the Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel has said.
Germany is predicted to receive 800,000 asylum-seekers in 2015 - four times the 2014 figure.
The claim came as the UN reportedly said a record 7,000 Syrian refugees arrived in Macedonia alone on Monday.
Mr Gabriel repeated demands that other European countries also take their fair share.

It's lazy to be sick now is it? What a nice person you must be.

If I thought my country was being invaded by a caliphate horde that was going to behead me, I would be fighting or leaving, sick or not.

Or you could sit on the internet spewing hyperbolic anti-immigrant dross. Each to their own.

This EU referendum can't come soon enough.

Either we break away from the Union of Socialist EU Republics, or we get some advanced warning of how this country is heading, and can leave for somewhere less hell bent on self-destruction.

My country isn't - yours is. You realise by "sick" I'm not talking about having the common cold right?

Of course, all these politicians allowing the dregs of the Middle East to flood into Europe will never have to deal the with consequences thanks to having at least one ring of armed security between them and the problems they're cresting.

Depends on your definition of 'my country', I'm a British citizen. I don't much care what you're suffering, it's not relevant to the discussion.

Syrians that leave their country are cowards who should stay and fight. Yet you say if you were able to you would be running away like a coward. Make your mind up.

Anyone else sick of the phrase "Britain is full"?

its one of those sayings certain people parrot continually, but actually is a load of rubbish

Land - only 2 and a bit % of the uk is built on
So the other 97 and a bit % is still free - hardly full is it?

It may not actually be 'full' but people, a bit like yourself, just reel off pretty useless information. (only 2 and a bit % of Britain is built on)

A pretty intelligent guess is 100% of Britain can't be built on... so what % can be? Taking into account Greenbelt, inaccessible parts, etc.

Let's not forget farmland. Can sacrifice farmland for homes. Sure. But now we have to import more food. Balance of Trade suffers.

Infrastructure plays a big part. Schools, roads, railways, hospitals. The list goes on. All extra costs. BIG costs.

Now 'Britain is full' is probably not the case. But it's probably more full than your 'only 2 and a bit % of Britain is built upon' would suggest.

I don't think the men who leave are cowards because they didn't stay to fight.

I think the men who left their wives and children, sisters and mothers are pathetic for not bringing them also. It stinks of the men saving themselves.

Would any of us abandon our families to make the journey alone?

You brought it up. I think the sentence you're looking for is "Sorry for calling you lazy."

I never said they should stay and fight. I mention that they're young men of fighting age to indicate the threat to society they pose, as you will be no doubt finding out shortly.

Well this is what some think of the English

That African man should not be allowed to stay in the country with views like that. He basically hates Britain.

If he was in Russia saying those things he would be out on his ear, good strong countries like Russia would never let bad apples like that spoil the bunch.
