The guy at work from new Zealand is super leftie. Hates the guy from top gear and says that England has no culture or values and that white people don't have their own culture either. So it's not just on the Internet.

Even when I explained 100s of years of history and development of the likes of classical liberalism amongst other intellectual movements, he said that was not uniquely british or white.

This is what I mean about the tolerant/free west being abused by an intolerant religion/individuals.

The problem with having freedoms is they come with it a big responsibility. Also lmao and telling lads they can't drink beer.... but this is what people wanted, and Germany is going to probably get a bunch of it too. I'm going to sit back and drink my tea and wait for it to explode. I've been saying it for years. This is only the beginning and if anything we're seeing it gradually gain traction.

By do the same do you mean get to safety, realise you weren't going to be given everything on a plate so continue to traverse half way round the globe in order to live off a generally hard working society and their taxes and institutions? Then No, I wouldn't do the same.

This racism argument is getting old very quickly, it's a completely invalid argument that the tree hugging, petition signing, terrorism welcoming left wing liberals are resorting to due to a complete inability to comprehend the long term devastation that this mass migration is bringing. Being called a racist is neither here nor there anymore in this debate, the people throwing the word around have merely desensitised the meaning of it to the public.

Come on now....Lets just claim every terror attack I reference in the last 10 years as anecdotal too but Islam overall is peaceful and not responsible in any way for these things. It may appear peaceful but the ideologies contained in it a sure as hell not...

Anyway I digress, this is about refugees. But that is the point I was making earlier in this thread in regards to culture clashes and potential ISIS members.

Not the true meaning of islam, not representative. Failed by society, need to show him love and compassion, maybe some more benefits would change his mind. Needs our help and understanding. A brave man in a foreign country, we are attacking his homeland, we are unwelcoming and racist, no wonder he wants to live in the safety of his own kind. Sharia just misunderstood.

If we don't want refugees fleeing into Europe maybe Europe should stop its flawed middle eastern foreign policy. We never cleaned up Iraq or Libya after we bombed it, what do people expect when you destabilize a region and flood it with arms. We continue to support dictators that suits ours needs.

I fully agree with him. The world will never be free until we stop seeing objects as cars, radios, tables, chairs. Until then we will never be free of the evils of naming things or giving meaning or context to things.

I would love to have a discussion with him about anything while he tries not to use any words that describe things.

We never should have gotten involved in any of the middle eastern countries. These countries aren't ready for democracy, they need dictators. There would be no ISIS is Gaddafi and Hussein were still around. Now you can go to any number of conspiracies regarding why we got involved be it the war on terror or oil but somewhere in the middle you will probably find the truth.
