AMD’s Robert Hallock: “The vast majority of DX12 titles in 2015/2016 are partnering with AMD”

Aye this is a quote I don't see enough of anywhere. More gaming and less complaining! #IDidARhyme

I agree. I personally do not complain much. My last few cards have been AMD.

That said, even on the odd occasion I do complain, it just falls on deaf ears. Like my question about Elite Dangerous for example. It has been a long time since someone asked it, so not like I was pestering either.

Just makes me want pascal more, and the sad thing is I would rather AMD get the market share to crate a balance.

Google nvidia and star citizen and there are images of the slides CIG did for a presentation saying what NVIDIA tech they were going to be using... They are straddling both sides of the fence, their plan is long term to support as much as they can

Yeah from 2013 nothing ever came from it. They was never an official word abut it from my understanding. Then after all that AMD got Partnered with them.

Paranoia? it's called viral marketing look it up along with IP proxies, there are companies that exist solely to provide services such as this.

Wouldn't go that far but there is an interesting trend where most of the more active pro-nVidia users have long standing accounts here with post counts in the 10s of thousands and the active pro-AMD camp is split between a few old names and a good number of <4 year old accounts with low post counts especially the more vocal ones.

Some of it seems to stem from for instance where humbug has linked to threads here that have been negative about AMD on twitter asking for comment/clarification from someone official at AMD - which seems to result in a bunch of AMD supporters from twitter who've seen it to make accounts here.

They haven't integrated anything from AMD either and have said they're no longer using mantle, so...

The fact that SLI works and crossfire doesnt obviously means AMD are hard at work supporting star citizen ;)

Crossfire does work? Worked for me I even posted screenshot on this very forum.
And no word as also been said about Mantle.

You are not helping either. this isn't an AMD thread, it is a thread for discussing what DX12 games are coming and the amount that AMD are sponsoring. It is open for sensible discussion and this was the purpose of the thread. I was hoping for some further DX12 games to be announced, which could still happen but as it stands, we have 3 (and AMD are sponsoring the majority of course (2 of the 3)).

Too many people get so wrapped up in what the opposition is doing, they forget that they buy a GPU/'s to play games and enjoy themselves. It doesn't matter what you have in your PC, so long as you enjoy it and I am sure we all strive for the same thing?

AMD have their faults, Nvidia have their faults but I will buy what suits me best.

Now then, anyone heard of any other DX12 games?

I am thinking we will see some love giving to a couple of older titles like TW3/GTA V/Battlefront. My thoughts anyway :)

To be completely forthright though, this comment can quite easily apply to AMD themselves.

Was the same locked 120fps, hanger or not still in game engine. It doesn't pick and choose when a profile is loaded.
Game would crash otherwise

Some features can stop multi GPU working when in effect - a profile whether CF or SLI can "make" a game work say 90% of the time but still drop out in some areas due to specific feature use.
