Hi guys

I am on my second razer deathadder the first one i had a few years and then it had a double left clicking problem occur rendering it very hard and frustrating to use.

In my ignorance i thought a few years wasn't bad so i got the razer deathadder 2013 version last january from here. It was £54.99 and it has started doing the same thing. So ive had even less out of this "newer" model.

If anyone hasnt experienced it then ill try to explain a little, it makes some games such as eve online which i play a lot virtually unplayable as a double click makes your ship move, often you do not wish to move in most scenarios but the razer mouse will set it travelling at full speed causing a lot of issues.

Also just general internet use and overall use becomes very confusing and you wonder what on earth is going on. I will not be buying any more razer products in future.

Not just Razer, I had the same problem with my logitech mx, but it took 5 years of daily abuse before it happened

It does come with a warranty

Which is god awful! I had a Razer Imperator which had very light use over 2 years and the sensor started to go, spoken to Razer and got fobbed off with lots of troubleshooting to do, after that about a month later the side buttons started to double click but when I asked them about it again they said it was a week out of warranty and to pee off! Worst customer support along with Roccat and will never buy anything from those 2 companies again.

Mine has done this too. It's so annoying, I just threw it away and got another mouse. Razer are so overpriced, the mouse wasn't even all that!

Considering my Imperator was £55 and my CM Havoc was on sale here for £20 I agree, even my second hand G500 for £5 is better than the Razer Imperator. I wouldn't bash Razer if they had helped me but how much would it have cost just to say sorry for the inconvience and here is a new mouse. I could have stuck my name under the old mouse smashed it and uploaded a image to them, that is what Logitech do. Like I said I'd only used the Imperator for about a year as when I first got my PC I didn't have a desk for the first year!

A friend of mine who thinks razer is the best thing since sliced bread has been through four death adders in not much over a year and half

Pathetic build quality

My original DeathAdder lasted ~8 years, replaced it with a DeathAdder Chroma last year, still looks/feels new.

8 years of heavy use, opened it up to clean it once in that time. The right click eventually failed on mine.

Very happy with Razer mice.

I've moved away from Razer for this very reason, no matter which version of mouse I had it always developed the double left click after a year or so.

I've had my deathadder nearly a year to the day and the scroll wheel click button is dying.
What mice are people migrating towards now then?

It does come with a warranty

it does come with a warranty.

I've had it over a year. Would I be able to return it to razer? Or to overclockers

2 year warranty on all mice

contact us and we will sort it.

and in future, please don't make scaremongering threads on forums before checking with your supplier to see if assistance can be provided.

We will help as much as we can and the turnaround on Razer RMA is usually excellent so there is no need for 'a warning' or any other threads like that.

The RMA percentage for razer peripherals is the second lowest from our range and they are the most efficient at resolving customer issues.

i had the same problem with my NAGA molten edition that they now don't sell and are selling on ebay for over £100 now because they are rare. i keep using compressed air with the pipe like thing to spray into the mouse cracks of the button that sometimes double clicks and it seems to work for while. I have bought some contact cleaner and some razer feet for the naga i have and seems as its 4 years old i'm going to fix it my self and i will see how it goes
