Winter Thread - 2015/16 Rain or Snow ?

* Sorry had to be done

I hope rain, snow causes crap what isn't needed.

But we are going to have ICE regardless, and if it rains, there will be more of the black ice about, so it is a double edged sword. :(

I'm going for nothing. It will be just the same as last year, and dull mild winter with a bit of rain.

Thousands of old people wont die from the arctic blast, we wont be locked in doors by 20 feet of snow and the power will stay on (wait for those headlines that we're 24 hours away from no power in the DM).

Rain - and lots of it. for 20 straight hours a day for winter. Then 4hrs sunshine.

Lots of people will have flooded houses due to councils inability to plan for what they know might happen....

Please be snow, snow is absolutely awesome.
Dry and cold is also great.

Chances are other than maybe a few days, it'll be mild and wet which is depressing.

I think the whole of Scotland missed it.

Scotland certainly didn't miss it, it was stupidly hot when I was up there, I didn't want it to be hot.

It'll just be rain throughout, with the exception of early Feb where the roofs get a half-inch dusting which disappears on the following morning. Like the 2014/15 winter and the winter before that :p

The last time I've seen proper snow ('proper' as in at least 6 inches) is around 1995/6 time, so 20 years ago.

2010 and I believe 2011/12? In 2010 we had so much snow that I had to clear the drive and the road side TWICE :p

Oh and YAHOOO :p
