Bah, turns out that my Amazon order of the TTK Ltd Edition PS4 is on backorder.

Oh well, not fussing too much, gives me more time to complete various games sat in my Steam library.
 
Sorry for the dense question but can someone please help.

I haven't played any of the expansions, I mainly pvp'd in original destiny.

I am looking to do the first expansions first then move onto TTK, is there no group finder? I have an app on my android but looks like a tough way of finding groups.

Luckily I can solo some of the strikes but that's not the point.


Also forgot to ask - I took the items from the postmaster for preordering (guns etc) but I can't find them anywhere where do they go

That just a huge load of BS, they removed the old cap for a much worse cap, I normally just binged crucible for 1/2 days and max'd out then switched characters. Now we can max out at 105 a week, and have to play ever ****ing day :/.
 
105 a week from doing one match which can be over in a few minutes with mercy. 105 from daily pve. You can only get 30 per week from the weekly heroics.

The weekly heroic strikes are a fair old slog, most took nearly an hour when I did it. I'm sure IB/Trials is going to be a source of marks.
 
I am pretty tempted to get some of my exotic year one armour/weapons moved into year 2. Costs 150 legendary marks though which is pretty annoying!
 
Once I have 3 legendary armour pieces I will consider upgraded an exotic in the missing 4th slot as it would be a good level boost. Until then it can wait until I have a better armour set up than I currently do.
 
It would be nice to find some of the new exotics in the wild but I played a lot of vanilla destiny and managed to get about 4 total (ignoring Xur). I think 1 was from a RNG drop and the other 3 were via exotic quests.

The problem isn't time spent, its the cap. They hyped up this whole you can earn however much you want, but I'm actual limited too 105, compared too 600 before.

Lets see what ToO brings, IB is a monthly thing so it won't make much off a difference unless its a huge gain.
 
No new exotics yet. 286 light though, mostly from blues which I've then used to infuse purple gear.

Spent a couple hours exploring the dreadnaught today with oweo....so much stuff to figure out. Hidden platforms, runes, subquests and stuff. Something weird goes on with the witches outside the court of oryx after you beat it, and sometimes the Taken ritual will spawn a relic that someone can pickup, which gives people nearby an 'Interloper' buff. I was wondering if it was for the hidden cave with the black ooze that kills you before you can open the chest.

I'm off for a few days now, looking forward to trying the raid next week :)
