I dont think they will let people trade the legendary edition in as its just the otiginal destiny disc and a single dlc code in the box for all 3 expansions. So i imagine onces thats used the package is worthless?
Not sure though but i would buy new to be safe
Unlikely. The base game is on disc, the three expansions use a single code. Which has probably been redeemed.

Thats much the same as me. I seened to get a Helm and special than you though.
What're folks thoughts on the hunter's void bow thing? I'm not convinced yet although it is early days and only the row 1 powers are unlocked. I can't work out why the orb thing sometimes stays for a long time and other times it disappears in mere seconds.
It's awesome but then again it's more of a support role where the other two are melee and ranged based.

Virtually everybody is level 40 on this game now. Leaving me to playing on my own
I just hit 30!
No idea what was really happening then was on patrol on dreadnaught and there was some guys constantly spawning player events, ended up with about 9 rare engrams in half hour. Since starting Destiny again (since buying TTK) i've gone from 120 light to 230.

you can choose what level you spawn based on which rune you use.I was being a little sarcastic, I think my actual count is; 5 specials, 2 helms, 3 gauntlets and 11 or 12 chests.
It looks and feels cool to use, but yeah its support really. Also really annoying when you hit someone's back or you get knocked just as you are about to use it. Think I have 3 more unlocks to go with it, waiting to see what dodge is like. The target spotter thing is cool.
Still prefer blade dancer for pvp.
I got from level 7 (trial account) to level 40 over the weekend. I'm at about 213 light level, what should I do now? Just keep working through quests and doing strikes?
I find patrolling really boring. There is also a side quest about killing taken champions, but they only spawn in certain locations so lots of level 40's end up sitting around waiting for spawns, not very fun.

Took like 1hour too hit LV40. Its the light grind thats the real issue. I've added you now mate, sorry didn't notice I had a new notification when I first logged in.
I love patrolling the dreadnaught. An hours patrolling and I'm normally holding 20+ blue/legendary engrams. Plus I just find it great fun and surprisingly therapeutic, just switch off and go on to auto-pilot
Up to 294 light now too, what's the cap in this? 300? Must be so difficult to hit that as every item needs to be 300! That's going to require some lucky drops

How do i earn legendary marks? Or any rep currency?
Do i need to be level 40 before i can start earning them? Sorry but this aspect of the game isnt really explained lol

you earn legendary marks by
1) dismantling legendaries (3 marks unleveled, 5 if you max the weapon out but don't unlock anytthing)
2) playing the daily PVP playlist (15 marks)
3) doing the daily PVE story mission
4) completing the quests. Some of these quests give 25 marks. Hover over the quest to see the rewards. If you don't have any with legendary marks, keep playing to unlock them.
You can only wear legendaries at rank 40, and if you're not 40 you probably not high enough to do the daily heroic story. PVP daily and quests for you then
