Decided on Friday to switch to decaf coffee for a while to see the effects of giving up caffeine (also includes fizzy drinks). I've been a coffee drinker for around 20 years, and usually have 4-5 cups a day. Not as bad as some people I know.
anyway, today is day 3
The weekend has been awful. Dreadful headaches, feeling sick, not being able to focus, feeling tired. I woke up this morning at 4am wide awake after having some very strange dreams (hardly ever dream). The car park was very quiet this morning when I arrived
so....anyone ever done it?
Reading on various forums, I'm actually wondering if there is any actual health benefits, but I like to think I can overcome a so called addiction if needed
Working in IT with zero caffeine isn't going to be pretty. Luckily the last major project I worked on (required a lot of coding) has finished, so hopefully I don't need my brain for a while lol
