Hi there, I currently have a 500gb hard drive in my laptop, partitioned into 2. The C drive is 200gb (OS and some programs), and the D drive partition (video's, music and some documents) is made up of the rest of the HDD.
I originally created a partition because if I have to reformat, then I could do so without having to move my documents, video and music files.
I am going to put a 480GB SSD in place of the HDD. I would like to have a similar set up to what I have now with one partition.
The question is, is there any disadvantaged to partitioning an SSD, or is there nothing to worry about?
Thanks in advance guys.
