To you maybe? If you were so bothered about graphics surely you shouldn't of bought a console in the first place? And the whole under supported part? Wut.

I play both consoles. I don't play the PS4 thinking, wow that looks so much better than the Xbox...it's all so trivial. I prefer the One as the controller is better, has Forza and my friends primarily have one.

Xbox: better exclusives, better online service, better controller, better console design (it's not a hairdryer!), better media functionality, better voice /motion control, better free monthly games, better streaming implementation, better mobile app, cheaper yearly sub, cheaper digital games.

PS4: omg it's got an almost imperceptible, unless I sit staring at them next to each other playing spot the difference, advantage in resolution. But the compromise for that is that I have to turn my volume up to 11 to drown out the noise it makes and buy Xbox controller sticks to replace the defective DS4 ones. I also have to put up with the lazy online service maintenance, lack of exclusive games (as Sony cannot afford them) and total disregard for any updates to the archaic XMB design.

Microsoft can't help that the majority of the public are tards that are obsessed with silly willy waving over GPU specifications.

I own a PS4, XBone, Wii U and very good gaming PC. My first port of call is and will probably always be my PC and I only ever buy exclusives for consoles. For a while I thought the PS4 was best and my my Xbox didn't get much love but this last year the Xbox as come on in leaps and bounds with the excellent Forza Horizon and 6. I also think the quality of free games on Gold as been better than PSN lately. Luckily I don't have to choose but if I was forced to, right now I'd say XBone :)

You're right. I could. I've not looked at the sales figures, and don't much care to. They're of no importance whatsoever to me.

Next you'll be telling me the Wii was a success because it ran at a higher res than the 360 and PS3.
 
Eh go with whatever your friends are using, that is what will give it longevity.

I've played both, both have their qualities. I got rid of my Xbone kept the PS4 mostly because its what my mates have, but im a Final Fantasy fanatic, so the choice is obvious.

So you don't actually have anything to support why the Xbox is in your own words a "disappointment"? Would appear that in your mind the PS4 is better because RESOLUTION, ignoring absolutely everything else. A bit like Sony have eh?
 
Don't Microsoft now own Minecraft ? If so you might find the XBox will get more exclusive content in the future.

It's the same old with asking which is best. They are both good and either will serve you well.

I'm sure you have stock responses ready to copy and paste to any possible criticism.

Regardless it's the first console I have ever sold mid cycle and as the OP already decided what's the point? I think it's a failure and have enjoyed watching MS squirm so win win.
 
Still selling plenty..still making money on each one, still getting those XBL subs in.
MS are not "squirming". They have settled on just doing their own thing and not chase numbers. Which is for the best really.

Ultimatly..its make no impact and why or why not you should buy a console over another.
