Hrm, I'm undersided if I should get a ps4 and this. It can't be as bad as AW looked can it?

initail reports from the beta are that BO3 runs better on PS4 again.

I didn't notice a difference between the two. Connection wise the PS seemed better though, oh and it didn't freeze like it did on the Xbox but not sure that will be an issue come the full game.

Its not guaranteed though, depends who you buy from. You could end up at a supermarket where the staff have no idea of the differences between the copies and you end up with a copy without it. They usually have a number of normal copies and those with the code in stock on release day.

Equally you could end up with somebody really knowledgeable who can find you a copy with the code. Probably best to ask a few days before and gauge their reaction

Got Black Ops 2 from Tesco at midnight release and got the "pre-order" bonus of Nuketown 2025. It just annoys me that it's called a pre-order bonus when you don't have to pre-order and can just walk into any shop and get it. Just another way to gain pre-orders I guess.

It's 100x better than AW. Still not quite as good as blops 2 but it's better than the last 2 offerings.

I think saying it is 100x better is a bit optimistic

It still suffers the same hitreg issues, the same P2P lag issues and uses the same lag comp netcode. It has OP perks / specialist abilities too.

It is basically AW with different maps and different movement IMO. Are the maps we saw in Beta better than maps in AW? I don't think so, but they are no worse either. Is the movement better? Yes I think so. Everything esle? Meh, pretty much AW MKII.

Based on the Beta I agree it is better than AW, but not by a lot.

I was actually being kind. Aw is horrendous. The maps and movements are 101x better than AW.

Good. Hopefully it will make people make the jump to new gen consoles. I didn't see why Activision were releasing this game on last gen anyway. Well, apart from the money that is.
Saying that I'd quite happily pay less money just for the MP part as I'm not really arsed about the campaign.

If it was only going to cost circa £25 if would be fine but you know they will still want £40-50.

They did say the last gen version will be cheaper because of lack of campaign.

I still play campaign mode on BF and COD, never played online on a FPS since the UT/Quake 3 days.

I've just had a look and apparently they are dropping the price by $10 in American which isn't a great deal but most people will still buy it as the majority of buyers only play mp/zombies.

I've finished every cod campaign and I'd be rather annoyed if I was a last gen gamer.

Went back to Modern Warfare 2 & 3 today on my PS3 and i am hooked again , would be really amazing if these was remaster for PS4 , none of this Ghost , Advanced Warfare , Black Ops III ****e

I don't know why people on last gen are getting upset, in fact I'm surprised they bother making games for PS3/360, it's nearly 2 years into ps4 just upgrade if you want the latest games with all the functions and stop crying

My theory is that people still play on last gen because publishers keep making game for them, and publishers keep making games for them because people keep buying games on last gen. So somebody - gamers or publishers - needs to break the cycle.
