This is becoming more common. It's getting difficult to find a house share for less than 700 a month that is half decent and not outside of London. Used to be that if you go flat share then you can be more central now it's becoming expensive for even that. I don't know how the people on minimum wage can afford to work in london.

There's very very few people in London on UK minimum wage.

You are right though, anyone on the national minimum wage working only to the working time regulations will struggle in London on their own.
