I got to a place now near Croydon called the Valet, costs me about £34 each time for a hair cut and beard cut/shaping with hot towels and face masks.

Used to do my own, now I go to a Turkish barber who sets my ears on fire, slaps me round the head, and does a scissor cut, all for 12 quid.

Once a month at my local barbers. He usefully charges £9 so you can just pay with a tenner without having to jig around for a pound coin.

I would not pay more than £10 for a haircut. It's 5 minutes work ffs.

Only the blonde ones called "Jul-eh". Every other woman has been far better than the blokes, even the blatantly gay ones working in the same place!

You look like someone who does their own hair

Get a barber or hairdresser to do it!

Nope, Barbering and hairdressing are different courses. a lot of barbers cant cut long hair and a lot of hairdressers cant cut short hair.

some salons will have specific people for different cuts.

I went to the same salon to the same girl for a few years, then she closed the salon and converted her garage at home, so now I go to her house. She charges £9 and I'm always happy with it, about the best cut I've had tbh.

I hate getting my hair cut with a passion.

I go to a local barber and he a nice guy, but sitting looking in the mirror at myself for 20 minutes ****es me off big time.

Hate going for a hair cut. :mad:

£7.50 but always give him £10.

I go to the same barber I have done for the last 13 years since arriving in the UK, pay £9 but always pay with £15 for a tip, Does a cracking job! and trims the beard and does a nice close shave on the neck. spot on!

Barbers, £8 but I give a tenner. He's a friend of the family so it's usually just a chat on how things are going. He also gives me a nice shave whilst I'm there.
