Why won't my car sell?

It won't need it for 15 to 16, the tyre size will change to compensate

That's not always the case. Whichever is the case here, the advert needs to state it.

I've also noticed that the car is almost due for a new cam belt. IIRC that can be expensive.

The headlight lenses look a state, can't tell if they're cloudy or full of condensation but either way they immediately caught my eye.

The number of views has increased 400% since Saturday morning! Haven't had any more calls yet but I think there may be some. thanks guys, I won't be making any more hanged to the ad now.

That advert is still terrible

Front and rear sub frame bushes were replaced this year and tracking and alignment done. The cambelt was replaced at 60k. Last serviced in March when the MOT was carried out. The car also had a full set of new tyres maybe 4 months ago. Please note that the alloys are 16", not 15" as stated in the specs. , , The car is in very good condition. It has a few minor marks on it as you'd expect from a car that's over ten years old, but other than that the bodywork is virtually perfect. No rust., Next MOT due 03/03/2016, Part service history, 4 seats, SILVER, £1,495

Why are you opening with the subframe bushes, then going onto mention that the cambelt was replaced 40k miles ago?

Like I said before, a comprehensive list of facts about what you're selling, not a rambling thought process about when the tyres were replaced

-Audi A3 1.9 TDi (110bhp) Automatic 3 Door - excellent condition for age
-Metallic Silver, 16" Alloy wheels with nearly new tyres
-Full black leather interior
-Climate control, electric windows and mirrors
-Power Steering, ABS, Remote central locking with 2 keys
-MP3 CD Player

Lots of history and receipts, MOT until March 2016

Thats it! That's all it needs to be

Obviously adjust it to match the spec of your car - if its got other kit like cruise then add that

Thanks, done that :)

Drop it to £990 with NO offers. It will fly like a hot cake.

That's too little money. I know what people have been saying on here about the price, but at £1,500 someone will get a steal. It's a very nice car.

Rewrite the add as per a few posts above then get some pics outside your house, it looks to me like a trader parking down the road and pretending to be private.

You'd have to change the pics so people look at the add again too, once i've looked I dont usually check that add again.

Thanks, done that :)

It may be a nice car, but it simply will not sell at £1,500. The mileage and age along knock it below £1,100. Part service history doesn't help.

The spec is not impressive, you're also stating charger cable? I see no benefit to having that in the advert. You've also mentioned MOT date, twice, one after the other. Simply state MOT until March 2016. And, if you want a little more, get it re done now, £35 and you get to say "1 year MOT". Unless there is a reason you know for it to fail?

But yea, main point, if you don't lower that price, it won't go.
