Forum "Disputes"

Perhaps, but getting a second strike on your MM record and suspended for two weeks over accidentally price dropping a thread before the 24hour limit by a few hours was utterly ridiculous. :o

I find that members who actually read and understand the rules invest time and effort in following the rules tend to also deal with other members with the same diligence and effort - and that's good for the mods and the membership.

The immaturity in me wants to create a thread there and moan about FF (for being too hunky obviously). HE MAKES ME FEEL INADEQUATE FFS!!!

I was recently suspended for posting a South Park screenshot (which contained no profanity or sexual material, it was the gamer guy from the WoW episode) in the "Draw A Mod" thread where the entire point was to make fun of the mods.

Yet I was suspended for "having an issue" with the mods.

So you allow a thread where taking the mick out you was encouraged then banned someone for doing just that. I nearly fell of my chair laughing at the irony of it all.

I really don't think there is the need for a whole subforum for quite a niche subject - just like there's no need for a quadcopter subforum, youtube subforum or boating subforum.

then why did you ask? :D

edit: you didn't will gill did

I see your point, these forums are inextricably linked

I disagree, when was the last time your turned on the News and heard...

"Shares in BT fell today after it emerged today that someone was allowed to post a video that contained the C word on their forums"?

When was the last time you heard "I'm cancelling my Sky subscription because someone on their forums called me a bad name"?

Conversely, if you saw a graphics card you really wanted and online retailer X are selling it for 10% less than OCUK are you really going to buy it from the latter just because you enjoy the forums they provide?

Yet you have sub-forums for Watercooling, Tabletop Games & Crypto Currency & Mining which are hardly populist pursuits are they? :D

Strawman argument, i know because my Dad refutes them for a living.
