Nvidia to discontinue GTX960 2GB and replace it with 4GB version

I'll be buying G-Sync too, at my resolution (3440x1440) the G-Sync bit would help dramatically on a single card setup

For those of us that don't play FPS games graphics can be important, some may take it to the extreme, and that I understand - I also understand people not caring at all, but I definitely sway towards the extreme.

The GTX960 is not too bad,having owned one,but the main issue is that the price of the GTX960 and R9 380 needs to be consistently under £150 to make sense. The cards nearer £200 are just overpriced as you might as well spend that extra and get a GTX970 or R9 390.

If the 960 got an actual 4gb of VRAM it'd make me laugh at the 970 a bit... I know they're not the same GPU

Heh indeed, it will most likely be that way, no way NVIDIA will be able to screw over potential owners like the 970 fiasco again.

A 4gb 960 works exactly the same way as a Titan X with memory.

Divide the Titan X specs by 3 and you get a 4gb GTX 960.
