Vodafone Smart Ultra 6

Anyone had bluetooth issues? I can't connect to my OBD-II reader in the car. Other phones connect instantly.

Bought one yesterday from a voda shop, £125, didnt have to pay the £10 top up.

Seems like a great phone, screen is lovely! Play some 4k video off youtube (plays at 1080) but it's amazing!

Phone is fast enough, not as silky smooth as my N5 was but it's perfectly fine.

Only problem is the power button, i can't put it in my car phone dock as it keeps pressing the power button and turning the phone off! Not sure how to mount it in my car now.

Tested mine this morning, connected first time to my car aftermarket blutooth kit.

The biggest surprise so far for me is the battery, my god this thing is a beast!

how does it compare to S4?

my galaxy S4 died on me today. will it work with 3 sim card if i unlock it?

is it silly to cut the micro sim to nano sim size? lol

What could a hacker do that could really hurt you?

IF they got your bank details and took all your money you get it back. Yeah its a hastle but its no big deal. Personally I don't have no worries about stuf like that.

Identify theft
Ransomware
Theft of financial information

I agree. There's all this talk about vulnerabilities, but has anyone ever seen a story about having their phone hacked? All this news about stage-fright, any one story about it being used successfully?

Malicious APK is the most common cause of compromise.

Same here, unable to connect to OBD-II adapter.

It also drops the connection with my car stereo 2-3 times in the first few minutes of driving before finally "stabilising".

I never had these issues with my Nexus 5.

Unrelated to stagefright. I'm speaking in general terms.

1) User enables 'Unknown sources'.
2) User downloads and installs modified malicious APK because they don't want to pay for an app.
3) User becomes infected.

Yes, we're all aware of this... the point was has ANYONE actually been affected?

Anyone having battery problems at all? When I first got mine it lasted about 3 days. Now with less usage than when it was a novelty I'm struggling to hit 48 hours.

Check what's using the battery in the settings.I had a rogue email problem with my talktalk account after the hacking. Couldn't log in so it kept trying which drained the battery a bit.
9 times out of 10 it's an app not the actual phone that's the problem

these have dropped in price.... just picked one up from Vodafone shop for £115 and no need for top up :D

unlocking one of these for £2.29 is a bargain compared to some well know brands, now im just awaiting a new giffgaff card after butchering mine.....stupid nano size sim card
