You could have just posted the link and offered your opinion by simply saying 970 but no you didn't, you posted the above which is hypocritical coming from you given that "gregster review bloopers".

And as said, if you post a link, which goes against every other sites results and people also don't agree with that site then they have every right to post their opinion, if you don't like that, then don't post at all.

Sorry Greg the way i see it is you cherry picked a review that suited your loyalties. If this is not the case why did you decide to forget every other review and post this. I seen this days before and thought what a load of crap due to the many questionable results. You review cards surely you have to be able to see these things. If you want to be seen as an unbiased reviewer maybe you should learn to see when things are a little off other wise why should i or others take you serious.

He makes a good argument Gregster.

If nvidia had such big performance leap on latest drivers, surely it would have been noticed by more than one reviewer. NVidia would have made a big deal out of it I would have thought.
 
Nvidia have not have a "big performance boost" with any recent Driver.

The performance has remained the same in the time i have had mine.

Gregster review bloopers is nothing to do with me. As for my link, that is the latest driver reference I could find, so it has as much, if not more validity than other links that are somewhat outdated. You and others decided that it isn't valid but that is your opinion and not that of everyone but instead of debating like a grown up, you had to get all personal and giving it large over the forum.

You seem to have something personal against me for the way you are carrying on?
 
Except it is.... you may have removed the video from your channel and re-uploaded it without the steam chat window to silent scone but it doesn't change the fact that it is your video, your steam account etc. etc. and that you wrote that comment in the first place, if you didn't have that intention then why even post that comment in the first place?

I didn't post any opinion regarding your link, in fact I haven't even bothered to open the link and look at it as I have no interest in another AMD VS nvidia petty debate.

No personal agenda against you, I just see through the ******** of "oh I'm impartial/swing both ways baby" and found your comment about the thread title to be hypocritical.

I laughed at the video although i was probably part of the ****ers but that pcworld link is just so blatant as to why he is not unbiased. It's silly on his side if he wants to become a legit reviewer.

Ohh a consipracy! What's this comment i keep hearing about lol? I like a bit of gossip.

Also i think most people know greg swings more to the dark side if you know what i mean? lol. It's quite obvious. He may have tried and tested red and reviewed those cards but dosn't mean he swings both ways. TBH i don't care who likes what brand more. If they enjoy the card they are using and it suits thier needs and performs how they like then that's great. What i can't stand is people pretending to be non biased and just go where the better option is at the time. (performance wise)

a lot of nvidia people just strike me as having cognitive dissonance much like apple users. Ohh it's expensive, it must be good! But cost doesn't matter when its the best!

Only poor people don't use nVidia and use AMD instead. lol.

Get 970 for 1080P, if you plan to go 1440P then 390, although 8GB VRAM would be handy even @ 1080P imo.

I deleted the video after realising my mistake less than 12 hours after posting it (and I was trying to help people in that video) and someone childishly used a service to get back deleted video's with the sole purpose of baiting and trolling.

If you can't drop it and stick to the topic at hand, I will start reporting posts.

No doubt the video helped but that isn't the point of this whole little discussion.

Well if you didn't post what your intention was in the first place then whoever did that wouldn't have bothered dll/re-upl said video so again, no one to blame but yourself.

It was comedy chat between me and a mate and nothing more but wasn't appropriate for public viewing and hence why I deleted it. Why someone would want to dive into archives to retrieve it is beyond me and pretty sad and for others to keep on about it is just as bad.

What the hell, I did not know about this. I googled "Gregster Reviews Bloopers" and saw Gregsters video. OMG... :eek:
