*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

For the people that don't know (or a reminder for others), this week is Paris Games Week and because Sony did not do a conference for Gamescom, they're doing one at PGW instead.

There will be a live stream tomorrow (27th) and it will start at 4:45pm for those that are interested.

Still not got my account back. Wont prevent me playing Fallout 4 though and I'm playing Sleeping Dogs in the meantime.

To be honest its pretty disgraceful, I know the back story to this as per your posts a few pages back, but I hope you are giving Sony hell and wrote to Eurogamer. Watchdogs etc.

Where do you check to see the renewal settings for PS+ again? I'm worried it will auto renew again.

a PS4™ system: Sign into PlayStation®Network then go to [PlayStation®Network]>[Account Information]>[Services List]. After selecting the subscription you want to terminate, select [Cancel Automatic Renewal];

a PS3™, a PSP™ or a PS Vita system: Sign into SEN and then go to [PlayStation®Network]>[Account Management]>[Transaction Management]>[Services List]. After selecting the subscription you want to terminate, select [Cancel Automatic Renewal];

a PC: Click on https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com and go to the Media section. After selecting the subscription you want to cancel, cancel the automatic subscription renewal.

Sods law they replied today, tldr they refunded the amount to my PSN wallet even though I reversed transactions on PayPal. SO that's nice.

I understand from our contact that you did not recognise some transactions on your account, and you reported these transactions as unauthorised. We do insist (an obligation outlined in our Terms of Service) that the SEN account holder is responsible for all activity and transactions made on their account.

Due to the nature of digital content, in that it is made available immediately and cannot be returned, we need to insist that the account holder take full responsibility for their account security.

As PlayStation Network has not been compromised, I can assure you that any information stored on our servers is secure. We would highly recommend that you change your account password to re-secure your account. The billing details have already been removed from your account, but our investigation showed that a third party may have accessed your account.

We cannot speculate on where this user log in information was obtained, but you may have fallen victim of some type of internet fraud, which includes practices such as phishing, brute force attacks, in-game scams, and gaining access to accounts using e-mail addresses and passwords from elsewhere.

I am happy to inform you that we've refunded to your SEN account wallet for these transactions, and that amount is now available for use.

Anyone ever used the service sony offer to top up via mobile credit ?

I topped up £50 and bought a £20 and £30 t mobile wallet top up they took the credit but added no funds.

I videoed the entire thing as it happened once to me last year where they took the credit and didn't add the wallet funds.

I have all the text receipts and T mobile confirmed they took the credit but I cannot request an itemized bill as it's pay as you go ? they have refused an itemized bill.

What would you do in this situ I have video evidence and text evidence the money was taken.Should I be reporting this as fraud to the police ? anyone any ideas on what to do ? sony say they got no payment boku say t mobile didn't release the funds, T mobile say boku took the funds.

It's a sim I only use in a backup wifi dongle not my telephone number.

so is you account now active again?

and sounds like you've got the funds to now spend on PSN - which is cool.

Yeah just signed in. I don't have the funds but I wonder if that was a mistake in the email as I shouldn't be entitled to them anyway as I got my money back.

Thanks, only thing is my PS4 isn't set as primary one and I cant use the deactivate all function for 6 months I think as whoever accessed my account did that. Doesn't affect anything as far as I can see, can still play everything I own.

Considering a PS4, just watching for a decent price on several sites.

No idea what games to get apart from Horizons looked appealing.

Already got an Xbone just wanted more games to enjoy. Any recommendations? Any genre just shoot 'em at me.
