Ordered the 64GB Aluminium on the 30th September, due 3-5th Nov.

Just ordered the 64GB Graphite due 18-20th Nov.


Now I must pick one.

Me too. I was set on Alu all along, then was like, nope Graphite. Someone made a comment about finger prints on the Graphite so went for Aluminium before I could change my mind. Plus, my Note 2 is dark so will be a nice change. Always had black/dark phones.

Silver will have zero finger print on it. It's lush, not sure about the stealth nexus logo on the black though, want people know it's a nexus

Interesting, but I want stock android so the slight speed difference is acceptable.

Wonder if 3GB RAM is too little...

This video highlights to me the benefits of hardware buttons - More screen area in any non-full screen app.

Not a fan of the copper skin sticker, doesn't cover the FP sensor which looks odd (it can't due to what it is tbh) - So bare anodised aluminium it is.

Anodising aluminium at this level is a thing of beauty and basic chemistry at its finest, it should not be "skinned"!

Very true, and if I were to buy a Note 5, I would have to run a custom ROM so I would just have an unstable stuttery mess anyway.

32gb graphite just arrived, whoop. Can confirm delivery is next day (parcelforce24) when ordered through Google. Phone seems a decent step up from my 5X. The 5X is good but this is better

Not massively keen on the screen, it has that bluey look that AMOLEDs seem to all have despite applying sRGB in settings. Guess I just prefer LCDs.

Why is everyone going on about smudges on the graphite? Most will use a case so I really can't see why it's an issue. Looks so much better in graphite, in my opinion. However, I have a horrible feeling I'm going to be disappointed with AMOLED.

Discovered one slight annoyance. I have screen set to sRGB in developer options, every time the phone is rebooted this option is turned off and has to be re-enabled.

How about because not everyone, myself included, will be putting it in a case? I hate cases on phones.

Not sure, I only ordered yesterday from GP so I reckon someone who pre-ordered might have got one before me.

Smudges and fingerprints are pretty obvious. It doesn't really bother me though because I think it's the best colour. Overall the phone looks very sleek and subtle. Kinda like an Android stealth bomber. Or something.
