I'd hoped USB C would mean even quicker charging than current quick charge though. Maybe I'm being unreasonable? Maybe USB C allows it, we've just not developed batteries enough to take advantage of it yet?

It's not about the batteries as QC3.0 is just around the corner and charges 80% in half hour.

Not just the batteries, I mean the whole tech involved in it. I assume USB C opens up the opportunities for these advances.

That will be great. Right now we get closet to 45% in half an hour.

I guess I'm looking forward to the day we can recharge batteries like it was an injection of power in seconds.

Andy regarding the lead acid battery fast charging would shorten the life of that battery, What makes fast charging on Li-Poly types withstand this?

I worried that always using the fast charging feature will shorten the life of my phone battery.
