**** Sony Xperia Z3 ****

I don't understand what you mean, timer? Do you mean the alarm?
selftimer set alarm at the end, and I wish to kill the alarm without unlock the phone. somehow I can't do it with the phone display on, after swipe the timer, it will ask me to unlock before kill the alarm

Had my Z3 a year and it's already gone back to Sony once for water damage... fried the main board - all flaps closed etc and submerged into a Loch to try and take about 5 seconds of video.

Repaired under warranty by replacing the main board only - seems strange to accept water damage as their fault but not replace the body? Surely that was what caused it? Anyway phone fine for a few months and now it has started turning it's self off and is a bugger to turn back on again (sometimes requiring it to be charging, even when battery is near 100%).

Looking elsewhere now.

I've had that a few times. Run CCleaner, clear out some of the big app caches (photo thumbnails are often a couple of GB for some reason) and you'll probably come back in under the absurd 75% threshold for a little while.

Thanks for the tip. I'll give CCleaner a go.

For those on the concept, there have been 2x system updates today via the update page in About Phone. The 2nd one seems to be a patch update thanks to some feedback left by other Concept testers. Looks like Sony is actively taking note of the feedback.

Amazon certainly will, just do a support livechat with them and explain exactly the above. They will send you a new one, then just ship the peeled one back in the new one's box (all prepaid).

Don't suppose you have any invites to concept still waiting for my invite from Sony. .

Sadly not, I didn't even know invites from existing users were possible though? I can't see any option for it in any messages.

I'm not using the encrypted "internal" mode, using it in korma SD card mode, but no reason it shouldn't work as intended, it's stock M.

I'm oo 28% now, unplugged at 4am last night. Been out on the road all day, half the time no signal in the outskirts of Kent, tethering on, Bluetooth streaming on.

Superb battery.

I've just noticed my photos are no longer being backed up to Google Photos, since September it would seem. I have no idea how/why its been disabled.

Anyway, gone to switch it on in the photos app, but the option isn't there. Am I looking in the wrong place? Has it been moved?

Thanks, haven't used their warranty/return service before, will keep you posted.

Any ideas about the cable I require, x to him? Which is it mini USB or even smaller I think.

Anyone?

Just bought another Z3 to give Marshmallow concept on it, is it just a matter of installing using flashtool? Can I go back to 5 should I need to?

On people's lock screens are notifications listed oldest first or newest first from top of screen? I don't know if I've somehow swapped them round or if I'm just imagining it.

Anyone?

For example this morning I had a text from my dad, one from the lass, and a snapchat. Dad's text at 10:44 was on bottom of list, text from lass was at 10:54 which was at bottom of list, and the snapchat was at 10:33 which was at top of list. This normal behaviour? Just feels different but it may just be me.

I think it depends on what apps state their priority - I haven't noticed this as I don't really care about what time a notification comes in, just that there is a notification to tend to.
