Xbox one USB adapter for Windows

There are plenty of in depth reviews out there that will cover the differences probably far better than I - and take less of my time ;)

However I can simply say that I have no regrets as the build quality feel and innovation/implementation is superb. As to whether its enough to justify the huge price tag, that's really subjective personal opinion/perspective. Alongside say that of buying a mega expensive mouse.

In short: no regrets and no I wont be sending it back. Its my precious.

Ok cheers, yeah I know an in depth review would better but sometimes a first hand experience account from someone is better ;)

The price is really steep for one, maybe next year I will see if they come down a little or find a valid reason to get one :p

Hey any more specific questions feel free to ask :) I guess the main thing to consider, similar to a high end mouse, is the feel and build quality. The grips and textured materials used on this are far better than a standard controller. All the other bells and whistles are a bonus, but not sure how much they would or wouldn't be used - but that's its beauty its all modular. Bottom line: its a thumbs up.

Good stuff cheers :)

Will have to wait for someone to hack the drivers, if the demand was there. But anyone serious about PC gaming, would have moved on from Windows 7 ages ago.

2 things I don't like with the new controller:

- The guide button doesn't seem to warn you when batteries are running low.
- When syncing in another controller for local multiplayer the quadrants of the guide button don't seem to glow up to show which player you are like the 360 controller does.

Apart from that no issues for me.

Mine works ok, it sometimes refuses to connect so I have to unplug the usb dongle and insert it back into the usb port.

Does anyone know if headphones work on the pc with the controller?

Yes they do, as does voice chat. :)

I do wish it was compatible with the Steam Link though. I'm finding myself spending most of my time in front of the TV since I bought one. A wireless Xbox One controller would finish it off nicely.

So I'm guessing the reason the quadrants don't show which player you are on the guide button is due to how the controllers work with Kinect?

If so that's a design flaw that needs looking at for Windows users, how do you know which player is which with local multiplayer?

Where is the best place to buy at the moment? If not against the rules.
Currently out of the country and CBA to search on the phone. :)
