Had to RMA two DOA WD Blacks and the turnaround was insane, they received them yesterday and replacements were sent out today.

WD truly are great.
Shame you had 2 DOA drives though. We order in 20-30 a month and have only RMA'd a handful in the past year I think.
Out of curiousity, why didn't you return them to the retailer?
glad to see you got a good turn around on the HDDs.
shame both where DOA though, did you get them from OCUK or else where?
They weren't very well packaged so probably got beaten up a bit in shipping.
Shame you're likely to get re-certified drives in return - but having said that the one I have is going strong![]()

It sounds like you've had a truly unfortunate experience with your drives thus far, for which I apologize. If you feel like you've waited too long for a reply from my colleagues from the CS, please feel free to contact them again and ask for an update regarding your case. I'm sure that they're doing everything needed in order for this to be resolved.
I'll keep an eye on the thread, so please keep me posted.
