TV series you wish hadn't been cancelled...

FireFly. Words fail me when I try to express how much I resent the cancellation of this show.
Odyssey 5
Space Above & Beyond (such a great show)
Terran Nova (daft but if they'd actually stopped the soap and gone for drama...)
Defying mavity (although the scriptwriter did the most wonderful thing and, after all hope of resurrection was gone, put out his series bible so that poor saps like me could actually get some closure. What a hero!)
SG:U. I watched/endured so much rubbish and then just when it gets good, they can it. Arrgghhhh!

Looking through this thread I am surprised by the amount of love for Firefly :)

Just wonder how many people here watched it on release and how many people found it a few years after it was canned?

I watched it after it was cancelled due to all the internet hype and really didn't get it. It was alright, but had hardly developed at all as a series, you barely knew some of the characters.

I love Sci-Fi and really don't understand why everyone loves it so much.
 
SGA. Replaced with that abomination, SG1.

Also Rome and V.

V was a right cop-out though. I think they just made up Season 2 with anything they liked, knowing they were going to cancel it.

Watched it just after it aired - opposite for me I instantly clicked with the characters though at times the episodes were a bit daft. I think though why it got the hype it did was due to at the time it originally aired sci-fi shows tended to either take themselves very very seriously or were full on spoofs and firefly sat somewhere in the middle didn't take itself too seriously but wasn't overly a spoof either.
 
The Event and Flash Forward, both victims of long term story arch's thanks to the train wreck that was Lost.

Stargate Universe.

It ended like SGU. Just when it was going to get interesting.

Was made up when we saw asgard in Atlantis and then they just didn't explain it at all. I wish when a show got cancelled they had to release the rest if the story in book or comic form or something.

Worst thing SGU did was them memory transfer stones. Everything they went back to earth it ruined the show. How bad would it be for the other people to bang your missus like that? Was awful.

Revolution had the nano things just make a city.

SGA had other space fairing people.

I think all the shows I mentioned where just getting interesting or a new lease of life.
