Relax dude. I don't know where to begin. You seem bounce between who's side your on? Or maybe you're not on a side?
I am relaxed?

Not on a side, just aware that this is nominally a gaming site, 50% of women play games, yet we can count the number of female posters on one hand (including Jill). That sucks tbh.
So you admit the transgender community is torn? So why is one side right and one wrong? Who decided that?
I'd suggest ignoring whatever drag queens think, ignore whatever SJW's think and going with whatever their support groups consider is OK.
From a quick google, they do not think it is OK.
Her views were that a transgender woman shouldn't need to disclose that information to a potential sexual partner as it makes no difference.
Most people have a bunch of prejudices around dating and consciously or not they avoid certain types. I reckon a Transgender person should at least have the same opportunities as others to meet people without feeling like a leper, because there is always the chance that even a prejudiced person would reconsider their position once they got to know them.
What if you were dating a cis female and you later found out that she was missing a breast, or she was the victim of FGM. Would you be outraged that she hadn't declared this potential sexual incompatibility immediately just because you bought her a drink? Just maybe she was a bit nervous of your reaction.
So yes it matters, but it is also a bit narrow minded to assume that everyone on Earth must be sexually compatible with your personal preferences/prejudices and that anything other than binary genders should wear a star on their sleeve just so that you can avoid them.
What is the worst that is going to happen here? You meet someone, you like them, later you like them enough to sleep with them, then you discover their gender is a bit more fluid than expected, you then decide if that is a big deal or not.
I'd imagine that everyone who sleeps with an asian ladyboy is actually heterosexual, clearly non binary isn't bothering them very much.
Anyways why should someone be robbed of making an informed decision either way.
What if you rock up with a one inch penis? Is she being robbed or does your ten million in the bank fully inform her decision.
All Gilly said is that he doesn't find it derogatory or offensive like the majority of us in here. Asking for a word to be banned, especially when it isn't being used in a derogatory way, but in discussion of the nature and origin of said word is pretty immature imo, especially when people start trying to get a moderator reviewed as well.
That's the thing, people outside of a minority don't get to decide if something is offensive or not, because they have no personal negative perception of those words.
White middle class hetros are not offended by anything because we basically rule the world. Call someone a lezzer on Facebook before she is ready and she'll OD before morning. Different worlds...
