Hardcore Kill Confirmed and Domination are back
Great news. It makes sense!
More needs to be done to promote playing the objective, three games while playing Hardpoint I'm the one who spent the most time in the Hardpoint/defending it. Yet I'm not in the top three come the end of the game, some K/D whores are who spent no more than a minute in the Hardpoint. Really annoys me.

I pretty much avoid objective based games on COD. People are to interested in K/D. They should just remove it from certain game modes.
Thing is, that's all I'm bothered about (objective based games). Not interested in TDM, for one, I'm crap at kill streaks so I'm next to useless and two, everyone runs around like headless chicken.

Yeah, I agree with you. I'm average at the game and I would like to play objective based modes but unless you have a party its not going to work. People use them for cheap kills.
We had a guy on our team the other day who literally went into the first room he could find, dropped a trophy system and a tripmine and sat there sniping, over and over. End game, we lost, how many caps did he have? 0. Sadly this is par for the course on CoD, the community leaves a lot to be desired.
I also feel that shooting down air support should count as a kill. The amount of times I'm standing around trying to shoot down UAVs and whatnot only to get killed is ridiculous. At least with a party my mates will usually cover me for the 5 seconds it takes to shoot stuff down, and I will always try defend the guy with a launcher on his back but again randoms don't seem to be able to think of these things.
I'm that guy who shoots down everything. If it flies, I shoot it down. People don't realise how much this actually helps, by not only keeping us off the map but also hindering their score accumulation. I see another AA person maybe once every 5 games when playing with randoms.

Randoms not capturing objectives isn't just a CoD thing, it isn't even a recent thing. Randoms haven't been going for objectives since I started playing FPS games. I don't think they need to up the points you get for a capture as it fits nicely with the killstreaks, what they need is to seriously nerf the points you get for a kill. If they leave the capture points as they are but make the kills only be 10 points then even a UAV at 500 points would be almost impossible to get via camping for kills. I would also like to see kill/death not show on the scoreboard and maybe even not count towards to your k/d ratio. k/d is important in TDM, FFA, KC etc. as the game is won and lost on kills but k/d should be of no concern for objective based modes.
Funny thing is no-one can see you KD/R quickly anymore anyway so I have no idea why people give a crap about their stats in the first place.

No idea, I haven't actually checked it in the barracks on Black Ops 3.
This what I don't get, I would rather have a high W/L ratio with low K/D than the other way around. AFAIK no FPS has removed kills from objective based modes so I do not see CoD doing it. It is a shame really as I think nerfing points for kill and/or not counting the kills to K/D would improve the game modes massively.
My k/d is a whopping 1.03
It was down to 0.8 when I first started playing Core but I managed to get it back up in HC. But I really don't care about my k/d as long as I'm playing games where the connection is ok.
I am not one for really paying too much attention to my K/D. I spend most of my time in objective modes and I know if I play FFA or TDM it goes up any objective mode and it goes down
Though I was happy to note that mine finally got up to 1 last night. After the first weekend it was something terrible like 0.7 We need to team up, I'm the same, always carry a rocket launcher and take out anything in the air. Could do with a special calling card. "No fly zone".
