'Oh ****' was my response to last nights ending. I am looking forward to seeing how things pan out. My Money's on Duke Nukem running out of gum and going Quake 3 style with the RPG's to clear out the heard.

What's it got to do with Carl's eye? NSIS...

IADS.

In the comics, Carl gets shot in the eye and ends up in a coma. He wakes up fine, except he has lost an eye. I fear that it may happen in the TV series too and they appear to be setting up for it, that is what talking about his eye is about. I Am Deadly Serious is what IADS meant

Personally I hope they deviate from the comics and he doesn't wake up. Mop haired, walking irritation that he is.

I think it's been fairly well established in here that if its a comic spoiler you should warn so.

Well if that's the case I apologise about the post that first mentioned it, I was getting my thoughts down and forgot to put it in spoiler tags. I will fix it now.

However, please tell me, where exactly is it well established? Am I supposed to trawl through every Walking Dead thread made on this forum? Is there a forum rule marking Walking Dead Comic Book Spoilers?

In my defence I did put it in spoiler tags, even without the comic spoiler knowledge, when I answered MoRT489's question. It is not my fault if he clicks the big web button marked "spoiler" and then gets upset about there being a spoiler in there is it?

I wouldn't worry about it, the only way this program follows the comics these days is the names. The comics are so bad if they followed it the show wouldn't have gone one season.

Hell the old fella with the RV was doing the blonde in the comics. The stories are worlds apart tbh.

I personally thought we're established that people putting what has happened in the show this week in spoilers was not supposed to be in spoilers and actually spoilers was to be used for actual spoilers such as what happens in the comics. That would also fit with how other threads use spoiler tags.

This is a thread about the TV show not the comic book, so anything about the comic book should be in spoiler tags. So it was actually your first post re
his eye and other people's mentions of Negan and what he will do, when I should have no idea who he is
which is the annoying bit.

To be honest the only spoiler tags in here should be for comic book stuff but people seem to use them for TV show stuff if it has already aired in US but not in UK even though this thread is based on the US timetable. A shame as it leads to this confusion. So we effectively have two levels of spoilers now in this thread - standard spoilers for people being overcautious about the show airing and comic spoilers for stuff TV-only people wouldn't know about, when really it should only be spoilers for comic book stuff.

What annoyed me was when he hit the floor, walkers didn't see him and just ate Nicholas, but when Glenn crawled under the dumpster, they somehow knew he was under there? And they even saw him fall off into a group of walkers, it's like he was invisible until he was safely under the dumpster.
It was supposedly blocked off by the walkers he killed around the sides of it :D

If I have one rant about this show atm, it's how the group are suddenly so high almighty about their killing skills. In a world where the walkers are so ridiculously slow and easy to kill it really shouldn't be that hard.
Also walkers make constant moaning noises, yet someone always manages not to hear them and get bit from behind. Using guns is so ridiculously ineffecient given that suitably sharpened swords can dispatch the dead with a single swipe, yet they are punching skulls with minut knives.

But after he crawled under, they started clawing at him, if the sides were blocked by walkers he shot while standing on top of the dumpster, how did they know he was there once he was under it? :p

So, I get that Glenn managed (somehow) to kill the zombies at the saides of the dumpster and that essentially walled him off from attack from the sides. The fence took care of the 'head' end. How did he stop them getting to his feet or crawling under from that direction? He certainly couldn't have been stabbing them down there. It smacks of lazy, cop-out writing to me.

I just turn my brain off and enjoy. No point nitpicking this or that too much. Might as well not bother watching tv shows full stop otherwise :p

Really enjoying the show myself. I watch this followed by Homeland on Monday nights :D
